Glamorgan recorded their first win in the County Championship since 15 June as they beat Derbyshire by 106 runs.

Set 261 for victory, the visitors never recovered from slumping to 18-3 with Michael Hogan (4-38) doing the early damage as they were bowled out for 154.

Wes Durston (72) tried to hold the innings together but was one of only three batsmen to reach double figures.

Earlier, Glamorgan could only add 36 to their overnight score of 145-5 as they were dismissed for 181.

Mark Footitt (3-46) became the country's leading wicket-taker as the left-armer, with 66 victims now this summer, made sure the home side never generated any momentum as the innings was wrapped up inside 14 overs.

That optimism was short-lived as Glamorgan's attack quickly got on top with Durston's 91-ball knock, including 10 fours, the only offer of real resistance.

Cheteshwar Pujara completed a miserable debut match, with the India Test player following up his first-innings score of seven by hitting a return catch to Hogan to be out for a duck in the second.
