  3. 'Awesome performance'published at 21:32 BST 15 August

Northern Superchargers captain Harry Brook: "Very pleased. I thought we did amazing with the bat and then to finish off with the ball and nearly bowl them out is an awesome performance.

"His [Adil Rashid] eyes were a little glazed over. He has caught plenty of good catches in the past, and I am happy he took the wicket there."

On his scoop shot: "That is not instinct. You can't do that on instinct. I just fancied it. I backed myself."

On batting at four: "No reason really. I bat at four for England and trying to get a bit more experience there. You face a lot of spin through the middle overs, so it is an area I am going to be batting a lot for England going forward."

While Northern Superchargers go top, Birmingham Phoenix slid to the bottom of the table.

They are tied on four points with Manchester Originals and Welsh Fire but languish at the bottom of the table on the basis of net run rate.

Northern Superchargers' match-hero Adil Rashid: "I thought we played exceptionally well. We put a great score on the board. It allowed us bowlers to get wickets, which we ultimately did.

"We got some world-class players. We have firepower in the middle. All the batsmen have the quality to score big runs. Fortunately for us guys, they got scores on the board.

"For myself, it is about keeping it simple and bowling a few variations. I have to be unpredictable. Thankfully, it went well for me today.

"You're always learning. I think you will always be learning until the day you hang up your boots."

It's been Northern Superchargers' day. They've done all facets of the game right, they've outdone the Phoenix since ball one, setting the tone nicely with Zak Crawley and Dawid Malan.

Phoenix didn't go down without a fight, some nice knocks from Jacob Bethell and Liam Livingstone but 192 was just too much.

It's back to the drawing board for the Phoenix. They have to start switching on quicker than they have done.

Great piece of bowling from Rashid, taking all the pace out of it.

Liam Livingstone looks frustrated there, Adil Rashid has outdone his man.
