    Stirling c Ervine b Williams 22 (Ire 189-6)

Stirling edges to Zimbabwe captain Craig Ervine as the spin of Sean Williams takes the Belfast man's wicket.

  2. Ire 186-5published at 43 overs

Four more runs from the Irish bats as Williams returns for another over of spin.

Chatara is now 0-27 after eight overs.

  3. Ire 182-5published at 42 overs

The spinner's first over goes for just two runs as he looks to exact some revenge on Andy McBrine who took his wicket yesterday.

Back to the fast bowlers as Tendai Chatara returns.

  4. Ire 180-5published at 41 overs

More extras added on for Ireland as Muzarabani is giving Clive Madande a tough day behind the stumps. We are going to have our first spinner of the day as Sean Williams takes the ball.

Zimbabwe have hammered Ireland with fast-bowlers for 40 overs so this will be a different look for them, particularly with the left arm of Williams.

  8. Ire 170-5published at 39 overs

A well-struck drive from Stirling looks set for the boundary but tormenter-in-chief Tanaka Chivanga stops it and saves a run in a game where every run could be crucial.

However, Blessing Muzarabani gifts them one back with a wide.

Just like yesterday a good morning for the batters is followed by the bowlers hitting back in the afternoon.

Blessing Muzarabani's two quick wickets have changed the complexion of this game and put the pressure back on Ireland.

  10. Ire 166-5published at 38 overs

After Zimbabwe had a collapse yesterday, Ireland are in danger of doing the same. The all Ulster pairing of Stirling and McBrine will need to man the fort and ride out the over of Ngarava for one run.

The man of the moment Blessing Muzarabani is back with ball in hand.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 36.6 overs

Tucker lbw Muzarabani 2 (Ire 165-5)

A golden duck for Lorcan Tucker as Muzarabani is on a hat-trick. Tucker's outing is as short as it can possibly be and Ireland need to settle.

Andy McBrine is at the crease now with Paul Stirling.

A fine batting display from PJ Moor comes to an end as he falls four shy of his highest Test score of 83.

That was when he was playing for Zimbabwe in 2018 but he easily surpassed his highest total of 19 for Ireland.

  13. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 36.5 overs

    Moor C Madande b Muzarabani (Ire 165-4)

PJ Moor's afternoon is over as he is out for 79. An excellent outing for the former Zimbabwe international as he is caught in the slips by wicket keeper Clive Madande. That is Blessing Muzarabani's first wicket of the day.

Ireland's wicket keeper Lorcan Tucker is in at six.

  14. Ire 165-3published at 36 overs

Another confident four from Stirling to kick off the over as he looks like he is settling after riding his luck and looking shaky early on.

  15. Ire 159-3published at 35 overs

Almost a scoreless over from Muzarabani who has settled down after a bit of a wild beginning. However, a 4 wide with the last ball of the over keeps the scoreboard moving.

  16. Ire 155-3published at 34 overs

PJ Moor moves onto 75 as he caps a good over with a well-struck four. This is after he survived half-hearted appeals after the ball was caught by Joylord Gumbie. However, the ball clearly struck his thigh.

    This is better from Ireland.

  17. Ire 147-3published at 33 overs

Two good shots from Stirling but one doesn't reach the boundary on the wetter outfield and the other is stopped by an excellent dive from Dion Myers. Richard Ngarava is back with the ball for the first time in a while. It's his first over of the afternoon session.

It's been a day to remember for Tanaka Chivanga after picking up his first three wickets in Test cricket.

The paceman has shone in the Chevrons attack and looks threatening with every delivery.

  19. Ire 145-3published at 32 Overs

Three doubles from Moor off Chivanga moves him up to 68 as he looks more confident. A quick breather before Blessing Muzurabani returns.

  20. Ire 139-3published at 31 Overs

A much more confident shot from Paul Stirling as his back-foot drive finds the rope. More of this needed from Ireland as Moor will look to get off the mark in the second session.
