Another two fours for Moor as Ngarava has now given up 25 runs off four overs. Balbirnie got the over started with a pair of runs before Moor stood in again to take his total to 31 off 31 balls.

There was a half-hearted appeal for an LBW at the beginning of the over but it was waved away.

  9. Ire 25-0published at 11:31 British Summer Time 26 July

PJ Moor looks in great touch and he has already posted his highest score in Test cricket for Ireland.

His previous best of 19 came last year against Sri Lanka and he is putting the Zimbabwe attack to the sword so far this morning.

And this is a man who played eight Tests for Zimbabwe between 2016 and 2018 before switching to Ireland.

  10. Ire 25-0published at 6 Overs

Moor knocks another two fours as the Harare-born batsman is looking really confident out there. He has barely given Andrew Balbirnie a chance at the crease! The Irish captain won't care as the hosts' scoring is starting to build.

We lost a bit time to rain yesterday so we're going to get some of it back on day two.

The afternoon session will be extended 15 minutes from 13:40 to 15:55.

We'll then finish at 18:30 although rain is predicted for this afternoon so we may not get that far.

    But here's hoping we do.

  19. Tourists collapse as Irish attack shinespublished at 10:46 British Summer Time 26 July

    Ireland v Zimbabwe (11:00 BST)

Ireland reduced Zimbabwe from 121-1 to 210 all out to finish day one of the one-off Test match in Belfast in a strong position.

Prince Masvaure (74) and debutant Joylord Gumbie (49) provided a good start for the Chevrons in the first Test to be played in Northern Ireland.

Zimbabwe were still in good shape on 143-2 before an afternoon collapse which included four wickets for only four runs.

Andy McBrine (3-37) and Barry McCarthy (3-32) were the best of the Irish attack on a historic occasion at Stormont.
