    Campher c Williams b Chivanga (Ire 99-2)

I have to apologise for the curse of the commentator! Campher edges behind and, this time, Sean Williams holds on.

It is Chivanga again who has been a major thorn in Ireland's side with a brilliant few overs so far. A good breakthrough for the Chevrons before lunch.

    Harry Tector is in.

  3. Ire 99-1published at 21 Overs

Not for the first time today, Brian Bennett fields well to stop a ball reaching the boundary. Still a well-run two for Ireland as Campher has partnered Moor nicely since Balbirnie's dismissal.

Considering his previous best for Ireland was 19 this is some knock from PJ Moor.

The opener has the knack of finding gaps and he has already notched up nine boundaries.

A well deserved 50 for the former Zimbabwe international and plenty more to come if he keeps this up.

  5. Ire 96-1published at 20 Overs

Moor picks his moment to swipe a four away off Chivanga in what is really his first bad ball of the day. Ireland approach triple figures before lunch.

  7. Ire 92-1published at 19 Overs

Ireland just keep the scoreboard ticking over as Muzarabani is a little wild again.

Chivanga is back and he is the only bowler to really trouble the Irish batsmen so far.

    Ire 87-1

Another boundary and a well-run three from PJ Moor takes him to his half-century off just 53 balls. A lovely knock this morning against the nation of his birth.

  10. Ire 80-1published at 12:24 British Summer Time 26 July

Andrew Balbirnie had already survived a dropped catch and but there's no escape this time for the skipper.

He will be disappointed with his shot but he has helped his team into a decent position as we move towards lunch.

It's the breakthrough Zimbabwe needed and their tails are up now as they chase another wicket.

  11. Ire 80-1published at 17 Overs

Another wide from Blessing Muzarabani finds the boundary before Campher flicks one just beyond the glove of poor Clive Madande for his first boundary. The Zimbabwe keeper has been put to work by the movement from his bowlers today.

  12. Ire 72-1published at 16 Overs

What an impact from Tanaka Chivanga. The fast bowler takes the first wicket of the day as Joylord Gumbie makes an excellent catch to dismiss Andrew Balbirnie for 19.

Curtis Campher comes to the crease and pops up an unconvincing shot with the last ball of the over that could have been trouble again for Ireland but it finds grass to get him on the board.

  13. wicket

WICKETpublished at 12:14 British Summer Time 26 July

    Balbirnie c Gumbie b Chivanga 19 (Ire 71-1)

Andrew Balbirnie is gone in just Chivanga's second ball. The captain flicks the ball to deep short leg where Joylord Gumbie dives to make an excellent catch.

Curtis Campher joins Moor at the crease.

This is now Ireland's biggest partnership in Test cricket, albeit it is just their ninth match.

  15. Ire 70-0published at 15 Overs

Ireland up to 70 as Zimbabwe introduce powerful fast bowler Tanaka Chivanga for his first over.

  16. drinks break

Drinks breakpublished at 12:05 British Summer Time 26 July

    Ire 69-0

A four off the last ball takes Ireland's total up to 69 as we reach drinks. A wonderful morning for Ireland in response to Zimbabwe's total of 210 yesterday.

Ireland now trail by just 141.

  17. Ire 64-0published at 13 Overs

A lot of self-inflicted damage that over from the Chevrons. After Madande's drop, Blessing Muzarabani gives up 10 runs, eight of which were wides.

Ireland rode their luck and Zimbabwe will rue that over.

  18. Ire 54-0published at 11:59 British Summer Time 26 July

    Alvin McCaig
    BBC Sport NI at Stormont

It's the luck of the Irish for Andrew Balbirnie as he watches Clive Madande fail to hold on to the catch.

With the hosts piling on the runs that was a chance Zimbabwe had to take.

Dropped catchpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 26 July

Balbirnie breathes a sigh of relief as his edge is put down by wicket keeper Clive Madande.

He had it in his gloves and Balbirnie had almost started to walk but the ball dislodges as the keeper lands on the ground.
