    London Spirit

London Spirit coach Heather Knight, speaking to Sky Sports: "A proper performance.

"That was amazing. In the last two games we have had tough losses. The girls did a brilliant job out there today.

"We knew if we won well then Manchester would have to win better than us."

On Georgia Redmayne: "She has been battling a little bit. She has contributed behind the stumps and taken some amazing catches and stumpings.

"She has been working hard. She has got brilliant hands, so she can access different parts of the ground.

"She is a timer of the ball."

On the Hundred: "I can't talk highly enough about The Hundred and what it has done for the women's game.

"To see it rising and people coming to watch. The London derbies, we have had really good support for it."

On her injury rehab: "Delighted to be named in the World Cup squad. I have started hitting again and started running again. I am in the home stretch and things are going well."

Kira Chathli's half-century off 26 balls is the second-quickest by a London Spirit batter in the competition's history after Heather Knight's 25 balls against Southern Brave in 2024. Chathli's tournament run tally of 214 is also the second-most by a Spirit opener in a season (after Georgia Redmayne's 229 in 2024).

It's complicated but if Manchester Originals do win they will need to beat Northern Superchargers by a similar margin to this today to overhaul Spirit's net run-rate and knock them out of the top three.

That's a massive ask for Originals.

When you look at the start of the tournament, you would have said that the Oval Invincibles had all bases covered, but the game is not played on paper.

The Oval Invincibles have not been consistent enough with bat and ball.

The easiest way for London Spirit to progress to Saturday's eliminator is for Northern Superchargers to beat Manchester Originals tomorrow.

If that happens, net run-rate won't even come into it.

Clinical, disciplined, and they have romped home in the end. They have done the double in the derby game.

London Spirit have done their job and then some. They get the win and the big net run-rate boost they wanted.

Ah. Kira Chathli goes trying a nifty reverse scoop to Phoebe Franklin's pace. It won't impact this result. Spirit are on the brink. It's a final something for Oval Invincibles to cheer this season.

Only a single for Grace Harris.

Can Chathli finish it in style?

Gone! There's a hardly a celebration from the hosts as Georgia Redmayne hits to mid-off.

She knows the net run-rate equation could yet come down to one ball or run. She did the right thing in trying to win it with a boundary.

These two have complemented each other so well.

Georgia Redmayne has impressed me, she has struggled for a score all tournament and she has been the perfect foil for Kira Chathli.

Spirit only need three more now as Redmayne ends another four.

Barring wides, Spirit aren't going to break Soham's record but they are going to pile the pressure onto the other contenders at the top.

It is going to be a very impressive victory for London Spirit. They came into the game under pressure, and it has been convincing so far.

So good from Kira Chathli. She knows mid-off is up in the circle. A fine half-century to her name.

The best shot of the lot to seal your second fifty of the tournament!

Kira Chathli just steps to leg and times a drive all of the way over long-off.

    Brilliant batting.
