  1. 'Derbyshire need a few slices of luck'published at 11:56 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 20-0 - target 329

    Dave Fletcher
    BBC Radio Derby Sport

Derbyshire are going to need a few slices of luck to chase this score down.

20 after four overs is a very nice start.

It would be remarkable if Derbyshire won this game.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:56 British Summer Time 19 May

    Leaning c O Price b Shaw 34 (Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 180-5 - lead by 88 runs)

Jack Leaning clips it off his legs and straight to Ollie Price who has been perfectly positioned at short mid-wicket.

The first breakthrough of the day for Gloucestershire from Josh Shaw and they'll feel a whole lot better after that.

It brings Grant Stewart to the crease following his huge 182 in the first innings.

  3. 50 runs

50 for Ben Slaterpublished at 11:55 British Summer Time 19 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 102-3 - trail by 155

Ben Slater reaches fifth for the second time in the match - and 45th time in his first-class career.

It's come with a little fortune as an inside edge off the luckless Ben Raine runs to the boundary.

The latest landmark comes off 69 balls, with nine fours. And it takes Notts to three figures

He was annoyed to be given out soon after reaching the mark in the first innings and the opener knows he must bat on and on.

  4. Postpublished at 11:53 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 178-4 - lead by 86 runs

Gloucestershire might be counting down the overs until they can take the new ball... 19 more to go for the hosts.

Chris Benjamin has moved onto 39 for Kent, while Jack Leaning is 34 not out at the other end.

It's been a solid morning for the visitors with 43 added to the overnight total and no wickets lost.

  5. Postpublished at 11:53 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 15-0 - target 329

Tom Bailey's opening over is expensive and goes for 13.

James Anderson back in - almost the breakthrough!

Caleb Jewell shoulders arms as Anderson comes in around the wicket and there are a few groans as it's not too far from the off-stump.

    Single from the over.

  6. 'A disappointing conclusion'published at 11:50 British Summer Time 19 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 98-3

    Dave Bracegirdle
    BBC Radio Nottingham commentator

Wonderful delivery from Carse, around the wicket.

A disappointing conclusion for Freddie McCann.

We said that Durham would be in the contest if they get the early wickets, which they're doing now.

  7. Postpublished at 11:50 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 210-6 - trail by 47 runs

Jordan Thompson has a swing at his first ball outside his off stump from Ryan Patel and edges it towards first slip but it doesn't quite carry to Jason Roy.

Thompson then gets off the mark from the following delivery, flicking off his legs for a single.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:48 British Summer Time 19 May

    McCann b Carse 6 (Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 98-2 - trail by 159)

Notts in a little early trouble as Brydon Carse takes his second wicket.

Freddie McCann survived a few scares this morning but no escape this time as Brydon Carse clips his off-stump. Beaten for pace.

    Joe Clarke in.

  9. Postpublished at 11:47 British Summer Time 19 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 98-2 - trail by 159

Frustration from Ben Raine as he sends one just past Freddie McCann's outside edge and then hoops one over the top of middle stump as the batter plays no shot.

Double teapot from Raine as he runs down the wicket again in celebration he had McCann's outside edge.

    Umpire Peter Hartley thought otherwise.

The umpires are not impressed the appealing and get together for a conflab.

    McCann survives a testing over.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 19 May

    Revis lbw b Lawes 13 (Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 208-7 - trail by 49 runs)

A big breakthrough for Surrey and they're now just three wickets away from victory.

Tom Lawes gets it to swing in nicely to Matthew Revis and it strikes him on the pads bang in front.

Looked pretty out that one and Revis is gone for 13.

In comes Jordan Thompson who contributed 30 in the first innings. Yorkshire need him to do that and then some today.

  11. Postpublished at 11:46 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 170-4 - lead by 78 runs

A sensible approach so far this morning by Kent. Blocking and leaving the good balls and punishing the bad when they come.

The visitors need to keep plugging away. Wicket retention absolutely key with the lead just 78 still.

Gloucestershire will want to make a dent in the Kent batting line-up sooner rather than later.

  12. Postpublished at 11:43 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 207-6 - trail by 50 runs

Not a bad first couple of overs for Surrey's Ryan Patel in terms of runs conceded.

Just the two off them as Matthew Revis picks up a single through point before Patel sends one down the leg side to Jonny Bairstow and the final delivery is cut away for another one.

Surrey need wickets, though. Four of them for no more than another 50 runs if they want to win this without batting again.

  13. Postpublished at 11:43 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 1-0 - target 329

David Lloyd goes on the backfoot to James Anderson's first ball and almost chops on - the inside edge whizzes past the stumps.

Anderson getting some early shape into Lloyd who is off the mark fifth ball with a clip into the legside.

Caleb Jewell defends the final ball, not entirely convincingly.

  14. 'Positive intent from Lloyd'published at 11:42 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 1-0 - target 329

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Straight away, there's positive intent from David Lloyd.

Lancashire have gone for two slips, but cover is open.

  15. Derbyshire begin chase of 329published at 11:39 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 0-0 - target 329

James Anderson - who else? - removes a lightweight sweater and takes the new ball.

David Lloyd to face with Caleb Jewell at the non-striker's. Play.

  16. Postpublished at 11:35 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 166-4 - lead by 74 runs

Jack Leaning is getting into his groove for Kent. He clips one off his legs for a second four of the over from Tom Price.

Price is going for a few in this morning session. Leaning moves onto 34.

  17. Postpublished at 11:34 British Summer Time 19 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 93-2 - trail by 164

The umpire is unmoved by a huge Durham appeal.

Ben Raine is running down the pitch to celebrate with his slip cordon as he runs one very close to the edge of Freddie McCann's bat through to wicketkeeper Ollie Robinson.

    Close but no cigar. Maiden.

Brydon Carse is set to replace James Minto.

  18. Postpublished at 11:33 British Summer Time 19 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 205-6 - trail by 52 runs

A lovely stroke from Jonny Bairstow to end the over from Matt Fisher as he cuts away for another four.

Yorkshire picking up the pace a little in these past few overs.

That change in pace signals a change of bowler for Surrey as Ryan Patel is on for his first over with some medium pace.

  19. Declarationpublished at 11:31 British Summer Time 19 May

    Lancs 458 & 184-7 v Derbys 314

Lancashire skipper Marcus Harris has seen enough as an overthrow off Ben Aitchison hits the helmet of Brooke Guest and that's five penalty runs.

They helps the hosts to 184-7.

Matty Hurst ends unbeaten on 56 and Tom Bailey has a breezy 13-ball 18.

Derbyshire are offered a sporting chase of 329 from 88 overs. Game on.

  20. 'Early wickets will be pivotal'published at 11:30 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 156-4

    Aaron Bryans
    Test Match Special commentator

An attacking field from Gloucestershire here.

They'll know a few early wickets will be absolutely pivotal.
