    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 247-9

    Dan Whiting
    BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

Outstanding delivery, this has been quite the bowling display from Gloucestershire.

It's the typical delivery to the tailender, fire it in to the toes.

It's not been the best of efforts by Kent, I think the draw is out the equation now.

A lovely cover drive off George Balderson gets Harry Came going after lunch with a boundary.

Wayne Madsen gets off the mark with a single off the first ball of James Anderson's second over after the interval.

Anderson lets out a shout as he gets one to keep low and into Madsen's pad. It's going down leg and indeed goes for four leg byes.

    Six from the over.

    Kashif Ali lbw b Singh Dale 3 (Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 247-9 - lead by 155 runs)

It's full, fast and straight from Ajeet Singh Dale and he instantly proves himself as a wise choice to take on the new ball for Gloucestershire.

Almost yorker length as Kashif Ali cannot react in time as he's struck on the pads in front for lbw.

This has been an excellent bowling display on day four from the hosts. Kent's batting has left a lot to be desired, truth be told.

Three runs off the first over with the new ball from Tom Price.

  8. Postpublished at 13:48 British Summer Time 19 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 244-8 - lead by 152 runs

Just the 10 runs for Kent's past three wickets... Gloucestershire in the ascendancy and they can almost smell that first win of the season at the moment.

Two more wickets to get and they'll want them quickly.

  9. Postpublished at 13:47 British Summer Time 19 May

    Derbys 78-2 - target 329

James Anderson gets more swing, but Wayne Madsen keeps it out.

The final ball swings away down leg and well collected by Matty Hurst.

And that's a wicket-maiden first up after lunch.

    Aaron Bryans

    Gloucestershire making real in-roads.

They look as though they have real confidence after lunch, it was great captaincy in the first place from Cameron Bancroft to bring Charlesworth on.

    Kent have fought valiantly.

WICKETpublished at 13:43 British Summer Time 19 May

    Ball c Hammond b Charlesworth 1 (Glos 516 v Kent 424 & 243-8 - lead by 151 runs)

    Ben Charlesworth is on fire!

He bangs in a fast and short delivery to Jake Ball, who can't do much other than try and get out the way...

But it clips the shoulder of his bat and spoons out into the offside. Miles Hammond does brilliantly on the stretch to take an excellent catch.

Charlesworth has taken three wickets and is only in his sixth over. He has figures of 3-4.

James Anderson in for his second spell of the innings to get play under way after lunch.

David Lloyd keeps out the first two balls to defend which are bang on the money.

Then Anderson has his man fourth ball after lunch!

Anderson gets one to shape into the opener and hits him on the back pad in front.

A fifth wicket of the match for the former England man.

    Wayne Madsen is in.

England’s men will begin their international summer with a one-off four-day Test against Zimbabwe at Trent Bridge on Thursday.

It’s the first Test the sides have played against each other since 2003.

England could give a Test debut to Essex bowler Sam Cook as part of a very inexperienced bowling attack, while the squad also includes uncapped Somerset player James Rew.

Zimbabwe won a recent Test in Bangladesh and include Ben Curran in their side, brother of England duo Sam and Tom and son of former Zimbabwe all-rounder the late Kevin Curran.

Here's how you can follow the Test match, which starts at 11:00 BST, on the BBC:

    • Live Test Match Special commentary on BBC Sounds with Jonathan Agnew, Isa Guha, Michael Vaughan and Henry Olonga

Jack Haynes plays out a maiden to George Drissell and that's lunch.

Durham's morning as they prise out three wickets before lunch, including the prize scalp of opener Ben Slater for 74.

Joe Clarke seems to have found some form as he stroked his way to a fluent 40, but the Durham attack has looked a real handful this morning, led by Brydon Carse (2-53).

Notts need 78 more runs to make the hosts bat a second time.

A game right in the balance.
