Comfortably in after a good dive but that's a great piece of work from Kagiso Rabada.

    Or maybe not.

Has he been run out? A direct hit from mid-off makes this interesting.

  3. Eng 69-4published at 11.4 overs

    Target 164

A much-needed boundary for England as Liam Livingstone clubs a short ball from Anrich Nortje for four.

No timing, but it's muscled to the ropes. That could be just what he needed to get himself going.

England need 101 runs to win, but it won't be easy.

Even Jos Buttler couldn't get going out there.

  5. Eng 63-4published at 11 overs

    Target 164

Liam Livingstone had only faced 16 balls in the tournament before today. He's going to have to produce something pretty special.

A priceless over from Baartman - three runs and the wicket from it.

I don't know exactly what Moeen Ali was trying to do there as he was hitting straight into the wind.

There must have been a message to find another gear, but it was a poor shot selection.

    And he strikes straight away!

Baartman drops one in short and Moeen Ali can't resist. But on a sticky pitch and with very little pace on the ball, he can only pick out Keshav Maharaj at long-on.

    England are in a pickle.

I'd have South Africa as slight favourites with the wickets they have taken and the way they have restricted England. But all it takes is one over of madness to change the equation.

Good over. Just four singles from it and he rattles through it quickly, boosting South Africa's over-rate too.

    Smart move.

Interesting move from Aiden Markram, bowling his own part-time spin. Possibly trying to steal a couple of overs, while England have two new batters in and they're under pressure.

England doing their best to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Very doable target and not one batter is knocking the ball around. Poor execution at the moment.

England are finding the middle overs as tricky as South Africa did.

Harry Brook joins Moeen Ali in the middle.

That's a huge wicket. Maharaj bowled it fuller and it bit straighter to tempt the slog-sweep.

Buttler's hedged his bets and thought that he could clear the rope, but because it was slower he did not get the power he would like.

The South Afrricans will be buzzing, they know how dangerous Buttler can be.

    Huge wicket.

Keshav Maharaj is bowling a brilliant spell here. He piles the pressure on with his consistency, forcing Jos Buttler into the big shot. He tries to release the shackles with a slog sweep, but picks out Heinrich Klaasen on the mid-wicket boundary.

He hangs on to that one!

England won't be panicking yet but the run-rate is escalating.

  20. Eng 50-2published at 8 overs

    Target 164

Solid enough start from Nortje but the boundaries are still proving very hard to come by.

All the commentary was saying that this pitch was a belter before play, but it's looked quite tricky all day. Only Quinton de Kock really got going and looked fluent.
