This is looking absolutely dismal at the moment - an extremely blustery downfall, fans on the grass banks sheltering under large tarpaulins, some sodden flags behind them rippling in the strong breeze.

One hope is that this breeze might blow the squall through.

Just a reminder that we need five overs in this innings to bring DLS into play and make this a game.

Early days, but if the game is called off before that then each side will take a point and South Africa will progress to the semi-finals.

It's probably a good chance for South Africa to take a breather after those two wickets.

    Ah, that's a shame.

We've suddenly got a squall coming in - the players have walked off the field.

It's really coming down, the wind is whipping the droplets in sideways. Quite a few miserable faces in the crowd from those caught unawares.

The crowd has come alive. Is this the game we find out South Africa are chokers?

That's the big wicket; the prized wicket. The crowd believes!

And now De Kock goes! Andre Russell has two wickets in the over!

The South Africa batter attacks the pull shot but the bouncer gets a little big on him and he can only pick out Sherfane Rutherford on the square leg boundary.

Like the West Indies, South Africa have lost two early wickets.

    Hendricks c Pooran b Russell 0 (WI 12-1)

    Andre was right!

There's the spike on snicko, Hendricks has just feathered it to keeper Pooran.

In contrast to De Kock, South Africa's other opener has endured a mediocre tournament - a 43 against Nepal his only score above 19 in seven matches.

Oh there is some bat! Dre Russell delivers!

It did clip something, but I don't think it was the bat.

    Everyone's up!

    ...except umpire Alex Wharf.

Andre Russell thinks he has Reeza Hendricks caught down leg. We'll go upstairs....

  14. SA 12-0published at 1 over

Two dots to finish the over.

After a patchy start to the tournament, De Kock has flourished in the Super 8s - he's scored 74 and 65 in his last two matches.

That's lovely touch from Quinton de Kock.

De Kock will be looking to go after the West Indies because that is how he plays - he's at his best when he's attacking.

  17. SA 12-0published at 0.4 overs

Two more fours, Quinton de Kock is motoring already.

He lifts Hosein over the cover ring, then plays a delightful late cut to reach the ropes from the following delivery.

Darren Sammy will be telling his players this game is not over and to play positive cricket. They'll have expected more runs but a couple of balls were turning, seaming and there's good carry.

  19. SA 4-0published at 0.1 overs

And South Africa are away from the off, Akeal Hosein's ball drifts too straight and Quinton de Kock whips it away for four at fine leg.

    Thanks Sam.

The West Indies team are in a huddle on the boundary - some important words needed, their future in this tournament is decided in the next 20 overs.
