A little bit of a lazy shot early on. These wickets aren't the sort you can go off immediately, he didn't invest the time to get in - the occasion got to Shai Hope.

Huge wicket in the first over!

After his heroics in the last game, Shai Hope goes first ball.

It was there to be hit outside off, Hope went for it but the height of Marco Jansen means there was a bit of extra bounce and he couldn't get over it.

Slapped straight to Tristan Stubbs in the covers.

This tournament is 50 games deep. These squares are going to be a little bit slower, more tired, assisting the spin as the ball gets softer.

Full swinging delivery to start from Marco Jansen. On a good length, too, and the left-handed Kyle Mayers lets it go.

West Indies are off the mark next ball as Mayers started to come for a quick single, got turned back and, with the batter back safely, the throw ricochets off the stumps into a gap.

Johnson Charles can feel slightly hard done by, but Kyle Mayers gives the West Indies great balance. He's a great ball striker, he's got great dynamism in the field and he offers bowling as well.

Here we go then, the West Indies openers - Shai Hope and Kyle Mayers - stride out to the middle with a place in the T20 World Cup semi-finals up for grabs.

Marco Jansen will bowl the first over for South Africa.

I have to say that was a pretty special rendition of Rally Round the West Indies in Antigua.

If that doesn't inspire the home side, I'm not sure what will.

  10. Hometown hero Jordan takes England to 'crunch time' in Barbadospublished at 01:21 British Summer Time 24 June

When Chris Jordan left his post-match news conference after England's dominant victory over the United States, he did so with his hand grasped tightly around a small cardboard box.

Inside was the match ball he had used to take England's first hat-trick in T20 internationals an hour or so earlier.

"It definitely feels really good and I'll cherish the moment,” Jordan said to BBC Sport.

For Jordan this hat-trick was particularly special.

The 35-year-old was born in Barbados. He started playing cricket on the island and lived here until he moved to London as a teenager to pursue a sporting scholarship.

The Kensington Oval is the ground where he first watched a live international. As a child he gave throw downs to West Indies legend Brian Lara on the outfield.

  11. England thrash USA to secure semi-final placepublished at 01:18 British Summer Time 24 June

England charged into the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup with a ruthless 10-wicket thrashing of the United States earlier.

Chris Jordan took a hat-trick - England's first in men's T20s - as the USA were dismissed for just 115 in Barbados.

And defending champions England chased their target in just 9.4 overs meaning they are guaranteed to progress because of their excellent net run-rate.

Captain Jos Buttler ended on a brutal 83 not out - a knock which included five sixes in one Harmeet Singh over which cost 31.

Earlier Jordan's hat-trick was part of a run of five wickets in six balls, four taken by the 35-year-old on the island of his birth as he returned figures of 4-10.

West Indies captain Rovman Powell: "It's 50-50 with the toss, we'd have bowled first as well but it gives an opportunity to our batters to set a good total.

On adapting to conditions: "That is always the challenge but we are Caribbean guys, we are in our home conditions, we've played here quite a lot so we should be able to adapt quite quickly.

"We have good as a team coming into this one."

Team news: "We have one change, Kyle Mayers comes in for Johnson Charles."

  15. Postpublished at 01:06 British Summer Time 24 June

South Africa captain Aiden Markram: "We're going to bowl first. Can't see the wicket getting any worse, hoping it gets slightly better.

"We're in a good space, we haven't played a fantastic game of cricket yet, we've been playing decent cricket.

"The wind is really strong, generally a good wicket gets slightly slower as it goes on but it might play differently under lights.

"Shamsi comes back in for Ottniel Baartman."

It's quarter-final night at this T20 World Cup... well, it may as well be.

After England routed USA earlier to book their place in the semi-finals, it is now a straight shootout between co-hosts West Indies and South Africa for the group's second spot in the last four.

It's winner takes all in Antigua so, while I know for many of you the working week begins in a few hours, you do not want to miss this one!
