That could be suicidal from the West Indies. It was a good bit of fielding, but it was straight to the fielder.

Huge, huge moment in the innings!

Akeal Hosein guided the ball to short third but Andre Russell came charging through to try and get the strike back.

But it's a direct hit from Anrich Nortje and Russell was an inch or two short of his ground.

West Indies need someone to step up but it won't be Dre Russ.

Russell's got to take most of the strike. If he stays in they can post 145 and that will pose South Africa a challenge.

It's taken until the 18th over but we're finally going to see Kagiso Rabada bowl in this innings...

  5. WI 117-6published at 17 overs

Anrich Nortje comes back well from those two sixes to concede just two from the last four balls of the over.

It helps that Andre Russell was off strike for three of them.

It'll be Akeal Hosein on strike to begin the next as well.

That answers our question about how Andre Russell's going to play. I admire the bravery, that's sheer strength.

    Six more!

Heaved flat over the leg-side this time.

Now you can hear the crowd in Antigua. They're up and about.

Where there's Andre Russell, there's hope for the Windies.

    Here comes Andre Russell!

First ball of the over from Anrich Nortje and Dre Russ hits it a long, long way up - and 91m to clear the rope.

  9. WI 103-6published at 16 overs

Nicely played by Akeal Hosein, going back and getting a quicker ball from Tabraiz Shamsi to the fence with a late cut.

Still an excellent spell from Shamsi, though. He finishes with 3-27.

Now it's over to the seamers...

Shamsi's bowled very well. He's definitely been the dealkbreaker. The West Indies definitely will not have wanted to have lost Roston Chase, having just lost a wicket.

I admire the power-hitting of the modern game, but you have to be strategic, get through to the end and not expose your tail.

Big play and miss to start from Akeal Hosein.

The Sir Vivian Richards Stadium is extremely quiet right now.

    There goes the set batter!

Roston Chase decided it was time to go on the attack but top-edged the slog-sweep.

Kagiso Rabada takes the catch 15 yards in off the mid-wicket boundary and it's a third wicket for Tabraiz Shamsi.

Fantastic stuff from Keshav Maharaj. He's done after another very tidy set.

The left-arm spinner ends with 1-24 from his four overs.

Time is starting to run out for the West Indies. They need to go soon...

There's been some huge turn, these two spinners have really put a chokehold on the West Indies.

  15. WI 94-5published at 14 overs

Six overs for the West Indies to claw their way up to a competitive total.

But this has been excellent from South Africa. Aiden Markram has been very clever with his bowlers so far - we've not even seen Kagiso Rabada yet because the spinners are doing such damage.

No problem with that. Aiden Markram's fingers were safely under the ball.

Further trouble for the West Indies after a good piece of bowling from Tabraiz Shamsi and a smart catch low down from Markram.

Andre Russell is the new batter.

The umpires are doing the right thing to check, but looking at their reaction I think it's a clean catch.

  18. Umpire reviewpublished at 13.5 overs

South Africa think they have another one as Sherfane Rutherford prods forward and edges Tabraiz Shamsi to slip.

It looked to be a clean catch but the umpires are sending it upstairs to check.

If Chase can get another 20 or 30 runs to his name, and they can score runs at the end too, he'll have done a great job.

    Top shot!

Flighted by Tabraiz Shamsi and Roston Chase drills it back over his head for four.

Chase pushes the next ball to long-off to bring up a 39-ball half-century. West Indies need him to stay there until the end and kick on.
