    Somerset 130-4 - target 150

One of the more bizarre shots you'll see from Somerset's Tom Banton...

He plays the sweep off Jack Carson, misses it entirely but then catches the ball with the back of his bat on the way through as it swings round behind his body.

It flies into the off side and he's able to pick up a single.

Down to 20 needed for the hosts...

  2. Postpublished at 18:19 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 126-4 - target 150

Somerset skipper Lewis Gregory has moved onto 70 but more importantly, the hosts are just 24 runs away from their second win of the season.

  3. Postpublished at 18:17 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 170-6 - trail by 87 runs

Surrey are convinced they've got another but the umpire is unmoved.

There's a big noise as Nathan Smith's delivery passes the bat of Matthew Revis on the way through to Ben Foakes.

Not sure if it was a nick, nor if it carried to Foakes.

    Hartley c and b Lloyd 2 (Lancs 458 & 137-6 v Derbys 314)

All happening late on at Old Trafford!

    What a catch that is!!!!

Tom Hartley punches back down the ground and David Lloyd takes off cat-like to his left to take a wondrous one-handed catch with his left hand in front of non-striker Matty Hurst.

This game is getting intriguing. The lead is 281 and George Balderson joins the fray.

  6. Postpublished at 18:15 British Summer Time 18 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 48-1 - trail by 209

Woah! Codi Yusuf bangs in a short ball which takes off like a tennis ball over the head of Rob Lord and the slip cordon. Four wides.

Where did that come from? Five from the over.

Brydon Carse has been bang on the money and returns for his fourth over.

Ben Slater takes a single from the first ball and usher the nightwatchman through to do his job. He does.

    Three overs to go.

How the tide can turn so quickly in a game of cricket...

Yorkshire have been making a real nuisance of themselves this evening but two wickets in less than 10 minutes have put Surrey well and truly in the driving seat.

Tom Lawes finds George Hill's outside edge and Jason Roy takes a sharp catch at first clip.

    Big celebrations from Surrey.

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 167-4

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It swung back very late, it looks like a bit of reverse, they've been working on that ball.

Wharton saw it and all of a sudden it hit the off stump - a lovely piece of bowling.

It was a good partnership, it took a great piece of bowling, he was looking very solid.

  17. wicket

    Hameed b Carse 13 (Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 41-1 - trail by 216)

A snorter from Brydon Carse as Durham make a big breakthrough.

Haseeb Hameed carried his bat for a double century first time around and has been on the pitch for almost three full days.

But he's beaten for pace as the England bowler knocks back the off stump and goes wheeling off in celebration.

    Good luck Rob Lord.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 18:01 British Summer Time 18 May

    Wharton b Fisher 67 (Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 167-4 - trail by 90 runs)

A well-deserved wicket for Matt Fisher who has toiled to no avail this afternoon... until now!

The ball has just started doing a bit in the past few overs and it's an excellent, full in-swinger from Fisher.

It has to be good to beat the solid defence of James Wharton today and it is.

Wharton goes for a very good 67 and it's a blow for Yorkshire.

Tom Banton is at the crease with Lewis Gregory for Somerset. He made an astonishing 371 in the opening game draw with Worcestershire.

He's not had too many knocks of note since then so he'll want to contribute to a potential victory here. He's onto four.

    Wells b Morley 50 (Lancs 458 & 126-4 v Derbys 314)
