  1. Record breaking day for Durhampublished at 17:29 British Summer Time 18 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 17-0

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

We're not quite sure why Durham continued batting as long as they did. But the innings eventually came to an end when Codi Yusuf was run out for seven.

Durham were all out for their highest First Class score of 664. It beats the 648-5d they coincidentally set here against Notts in 2009.

At 174.1 overs it is now their longest innings too, beating the 172.1 overs at Worcester in 2009.

The lead is 257 and there are 16 overs left of day three, providing the light holds. It's been gloomy and cold in CLS all day.

  2. LEICESTERSHIRE WIN BY SEVEN WICKETSpublished at 17:27 British Summer Time 18 May

    Middlesex 232 & 143 v Leics 274 & 102-3 - Leics win by seven wickets

A run chase with a modest target that was never really in doubt for Division Two leaders Leicestershire.

Skipper Peter Handscomb finishes the job off with a single on the off side and they pick up their fourth win of the season after an excellent display on day three at Lord's to extend their lead at the top of the table.

Just a second defeat of the campaign for Middlesex and the damage was done in their dismal second innings.

  3. Division Two updatepublished at 17:27 British Summer Time 18 May

Glamorgan just need one more wicket to wrap up the Northants first innings.

Northants have a lead of 47 at present.

Gloucestershire have picked up a couple of quick and important wickets as Ben Compton and Daniel Bell-Drummond are dismissed in the space of five balls.

Kent lead Glos by one run with seven wickets in hand.

It's been a tight affair but those wickets give a glimpse that this one could have an exciting ending.

Leicestershire move onto 101 and they're almost there.

  5. Five-wicket haul for James Fullerpublished at 17:25 British Summer Time 18 May

    Simmons c Wheal b Fuller 15 (Warwicks 207-9 - target 310)

Hampshire are on the verge of victory.

Che Simmons looks to pull James Fuller but succeeds only in sending a top edge high into the Birmingham skies.

Brad Wheal has plenty of time to consider the catch and takes it, despite a ill-advised shout from the stand trying to put him off.

That's a brilliant five-wicket haul for Fuller - the eighth of his first-class career.

Olly Hannon-Dalby is last man in.

  6. Nottinghamshire begin second inningspublished at 17:23 British Summer Time 18 May

    Durham 664 v Notts 407 & 4-0 - trail by 253

After almost two draining days in the field, Notts have 14 overs to face on day three.

They start their second knock 257 behind.

Haseeb Hameed dispatches the second ball through midwicket to chip four off the deficit as the visitors look to bat out for a draw.

  7. 50 runs

50 for James Whartonpublished at 17:22 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 130-3 - trail by 127 runs

James Wharton guides one down to third man for four and he moves past 50.

That's a hard-fought fourth half-century of the season for Wharton and Yorkshire need him to stay out there for as long as possible.

  8. Postpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 126-3 - trail by 131 runs

Jonny Bairstow wallops a wonderful cut to the point boundary off Matt Fisher - his second four of the over.

Bairstow races onto 30 off 24 balls. The ex-England man only knows one way to bat and you have to admire it.

Leicestershire are closing in on victory over MIddlesex slowly but surely at Lord's.

Lewis Hill is unbeaten on 16 and skipper Peter Handscomb is four not out.

They need just 17 more to do it.

  10. 'It was a feisty innings'published at 17:19 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 201-8 - target 310

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

    A very straightforward catch.

It was a feisty innings but there's the breakthrough.

Ethan Bamber will get a warm welcome for his contribution today.

He demonstrated there that he's not a natural number eight.

  11. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time 18 May

    Bamber c Brown b Fuller (Warwicks 199-8 - target 310)

A super knock comes to an end as James Fuller takes a fourth wicket.

Ethan Bamber has survived a couple of recent drops, but goes this time for a fighting 43.

He looks to deflect the delivery into the offside, but edges it and gives Ben Brown a routine catch behind the stumps.

Tazim Ali joins Che Simmons and Hants are closing in.

  12. Postpublished at 17:16 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 63-3 - target 150

Somerset are just starting to eat into the 150 runs they need now. Lewis Gregory gets down low on his front foot to sweep away for four from Sussex spinner Jack Carson and then prods into the leg side to move onto 43.

Another 87 runs needed for Somerset now.

WICKETpublished at 17:15 British Summer Time 18 May

    Harris c Guest b Aitchison 1 (Lancs 458 & 70-3 v Derbys 314)

Another one falls as Ben Aitchison's fine day gets a little better.

A rare failure for Marcus Harris - the championship's leading scorer - as he edges Aitchison behind to Brooke Guest.

    Matty Hurst to the crease.

  14. Postpublished at 17:14 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 198-7 - target 310

Ethan Bamber gets a life on 34 as he top-edges James Fuller.

Tom Prest at first slip runs back, gets in position, but the ball pops off his hand, against his chest and down.

Bamber makes the most of his reprieve by pulling James Fuller into the stand for six. Right out of the middle.

  15. 'It's all about levels'published at 17:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 109-3

    Jonathan Doidge
    BBC Radio Leeds cricket commentator

Bairstow has just gone out there without doing anything spectacular and has got the scoreboard moving.

    It's all about levels.

Jordan Clark has dominated most of this match, in the last few overs he's been dominated.

  16. WORCS WIN BY 225 RUNSpublished at 17:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    Worcs 358 & 134 v Essex 157 & 110 – Worcs win by 225 runs

    Matthew WaiteImage source, Rex Features

In the end a very comfortable win for the hosts - their first of the season!

They've won by a huge 225 runs and it's fitting that Matthew Waite picks up the final wicket - he took 6-19 from 10.5 overs.

Waite also got three wickets in the first innings and top scored with the bat - so you'd struggle to suggest he isn't the man of the match.

The Pears have won with a day to spare.

Zak Chappell has plenty of time to contemplate the catch but pouches a steepler.

Josh Bohannon looks to get a move on and has a swipe at Jack Morley, but top edges and goes for two.

    Marcus Harris joins Luke Wells.

  18. 50 runs

After a scare at the start of the innings, losing three wickets for 30 runs inside the first six overs, Somerset have settled things slightly.

The hosts move onto 50 and they're a third of the way there to the target of 150, thanks in large part to their skipper Lewis Gregory's unbeaten 37 so far.

An entertaining game at Taunton. Credit to Sussex for making it one - certainly didn't look like it would be when they were skittled for 152 and forced to follow on.

  19. Postpublished at 17:08 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 109-3 - trail by 148 runs

Jonny Bairstow cracks a couple of boundaries off Jordan Clark for Yorkshire to move them onto 109-3.

The deficit is now below 150 for the visitors. Got to keep chipping away.

  20. Five-wicket haulpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time 18 May

    Worcs 358 & 134 v Essex 157 & 106-9

Matthew Waite has bowled brilliantly today and gets his just rewards with a five-wicket haul.

Figures of 5-15 from 10.3 overs - superb.

Simon Harmer goes lbw and Worcs only need one more wicket to wrap up the win.
