    Somerset 11-1 - target 150

Big cries for lbw as Sussex opening bowler Ollie Robinson swings one into Tom Lammonby's pads on his first ball... but the umpire says no. Probably hitting just outside the line.

Robinson is bowling very well here.

  2. 'A good start for Sussex'published at 16:11 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 11-1 - target 150

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset

That's the end of Josh Davey, he was pushing out at that delivery from Robinson.

A good delivery from Ollie Robinson who is a class bowler.

    A good start for Sussex.

WICKETpublished at 16:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    Davey b Robinson 2 (Somerset 11-1 - target 150)

What a beauty from Ollie Robinson and Sussex will feel that's no more than they deserve after a promising start with the ball in this second innings.

Robinson gets it to nip away just enough off a length to beat Josh Davey's bat and clip the top of off stump.

    Game on, maybe?

  4. Postpublished at 16:08 British Summer Time 18 May

    Leics 19-0 - target 102

Leicestershire are almost a quarter of the way to their target of 102 to seal victory over Middlesex after just four overs.

Sol Budinger is in no mood to hang about, moving onto 16 off 15 balls.

  5. Tea at Edgbastonpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 166-7 - target 310

John Turner has a short leg for the final over before tea, but Ethan Bamber safely plays out a maiden.

Hampshire are closing in on a second championship win of the season after a productive afternoon session.

Three quick wickets from James Fuller ripped out the Bears middle order as the visitors removed five Warwickshire batters in the session.

They need just three more wickets, with Ethan Bamber (19) and Che Simmons (6) at the crease.

The hosts need 144 more runs to pull off what would be a miraculous win.

  6. Postpublished at 16:06 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 10-0 - target 150

On another day, Somerset might have seen both openers removed for no score had Ollie Robinson not overstepped the line and Tom Alsop had pocketed that chance.

    The fine margins...

  7. dropped catch

Davey dropped on 0published at 16:05 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 5-0 - target 150

Oh my, another chance for Sussex to get an early wicket goes begging...

Nathan McAndrew finds the outside edge as Josh Davey wafts at one outside off.

It flies at pace towards Tom Alsop at first slip but he can't react in time and it hits him in the chest.

A painful one for Alsop both physically and metaphorically.

  8. Lancashire begin second inningspublished at 16:04 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancs 458 & 2-0 v Derbys 314

Ben Aitchison opens the bowling for Derbyshire fresh from his batting exploits.

First innings century-maker Luke Wells is off the mark with a third-ball single, while Keaton Jennings does likewise to his third ball.

The former England opener would like a few runs after his failure first time around.

  9. Tea at The Ovalpublished at 16:03 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 67-2 - trail by 190 runs

Yorkshire have done well to get into the tea break only two wickets down.

Their gameplan will be very much to just stay in this and take it as deep as they can into the evening and beyond into day four.

  10. Postpublished at 16:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 4-0 - target 150

An eventful first over comes to an end. Four runs on the board but none off the bat just yet. Two no balls from Ollie Robinson to get Somerset on their way.

He must be kicking himself after getting Lewis Gregory caught behind from the first of those two no balls.

  11. Postpublished at 16:01 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 166-7 - target 310

Kyle Abbott (3-44) to bowl the penultimate over of the afternoon session.

Che Simmons flicks the South African off his pads to start the over with a boundary.

A scrambling stop from Fletcha Middleton denies Simmons further runs.

    Warwicks 166-7 - target 310

    Richard Wilford
    BBC Radio WM commentator

If these two could somehow get under 100, it will put some pressure onto Hampshire.

There's still a lot of work to do for that, though.

  13. Somerset require 150 to beat Sussexpublished at 15:59 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 2-0 - target 150

Somerset have spent plenty of time in the field after enforcing Sussex to follow on.

Their second innings is finally under way now though and what a start it almost was for the visitors...

Lewis Gregory has a slash at one outside off stump from Ollie Robinson and he's caught at second slip...

But the umpire signals for a no ball as Robinson oversteps the line.

  14. Postpublished at 15:56 British Summer Time 18 May

    Glamorgan 424 v Northants 185 & 222-7 - Northants trail by 17

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Northants have battled hard on day three after starting 190 runs behind, with the visitors looking set to at least avoid the innings defeat although they have now lost Saif Zaib for 71, caught at slip off James Harris after a battling knock.

Captain Luke Procter played a solid and lengthy innings of 56 off 131 balls before Asitha Fernando had him caught behind, adding 64 with Zaib for the sixth wicket.

Zaib started brightly but moved down a gear in a gentle half-century partnership with the obdurate Lewis MacManus, on a ground where the wicketkeeper knocked up 168 not out last year.

Still likely to be a three-day finish, but Glamorgan have been forced to work for it.

  15. Postpublished at 15:55 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 67-2 - trail by 190 runs

Fairly slow going for Yorkshire at The Oval at just over two an over, but they won't mind it one bit all the while they're not losing wickets.

James Wharton has moved onto 27, while Jonny Tattersall is nine not out.

    Durham 589-7 v Notts 407

The third new ball is available, but Haseeb Hameed opts not take it for the last over before tea.

Rob Lord continues and Graham Clark unfurls a drive down the ground to the penultimate ball of the session and picks up two to go to 97.

He cuts the final ball and runs hard but can only get two. He'll go to tea on 99!!

The declaration can't be too long away after tea. Durham are 182 ahead with four sessions of the match remaining.

  19. 'Somerset ought to win but you never know...'published at 15:52 British Summer Time 18 May

    Tea: Somerset 338 & target 150 v Sussex 152 & 335 f/o

    Anthony Gibson
    BBC Radio Somerset at Taunton

A battling innings of 82 not out from their skipper John Simpson has given Sussex just a sniff.

In partnerships of 66 with James Coles, 78 with Fynn Hudson-Prentice and 44 with Ollie Robinson, he kept the Somerset bowlers at bay for the better part of four hours.

It took Matt Henry with the new ball to make the crucial breakthrough when he sent Hudson-Prentice's off stump cart-wheeling, although it was Jack Leach who took the final wicket, having Robinson caught at slip, to finish with 4/51.

On a flat pitch, Somerset ought to knock off the 150 they need without too much trouble, but with this collapse-prone Somerset top order, you never know.

  20. 'It's still a big job for Yorkshire'published at 15:49 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 63-2

    Mark Church
    BBC Radio London commentator

It's still a big job on the hands of Yorkshire here.

They've just got to stick in there.

It's been some good fielding from a Surrey point of view, especially in the slips.

Foakes, as always, has been very good behind the sticks.
