  1. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:18 British Summer Time 18 May

    Davies lbw b Fuller 66 (Warwicks 126-6 - target 310)

Hants are in a hurry and James Fuller has a third wicket.

The ball seems to be keeping low as Fuller gets a ball to nip back into the pads of Alex Davies, below the knee roll. Again that looked to be going on to hit middle stump.

That could well be that for the Bears as their skipper goes for a battling 66.

    Ethan Bamber joins Zen Malik.

  2. wicket

It really has all fallen apart for Middlesex today.

Ben Green is enjoying himself for Leicestershire as he gets his third wicket of the innings and it's the big one of Luke Hollman.

Hollman has been going along nicely but he's gone for 42, bowled by Green after taking an inside edge and seeing it painfully clip the bails.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 18 May

    Pepper c Jones b Waite 2 (Worcs 358 & 134 v Essex 157 & 47-5)

A curious dismissal. Michael Pepper tries to counter attack, coming down the pitch to Matthew Waite but pulls out of the shot and then sort of flicks out with the bat and sends it straight into the hands of Rob Jones at slip.

Maybe Pepper just wanted to get on the offensive with his side in retreat but he got it wrong you'd have to say.

Waite has supreme figures of 3-2 from five overs - four of them have been maidens.

  4. Postpublished at 15:15 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 125-5 - target 310

Brad Wheal induces an edge from Zen Malik but it bounces just short of Toby Albert at third slip.

He's off the mark with a scratchy third-ball single.

  5. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time 18 May

    Barnard c Brown b Fuller 4 (Warwicks 123-5 - target 310)

Hants move another big step closer to their second win of the season.

James Fuller gets one to straighten and take the edge of Ed Barnard's tentative push forward through to Ben Brown.

Fuller is doing a cracking job for Hampshire.

Zen Malik comes to the middle.

300 up for Sussexpublished at 15:11 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 338 v Sussex 152 & 300-9 f/o - lead by 114 runs

Not a lot to lose now for Sussex as Ollie Robinson slams one through mid-off for four off Migael Pretorius to bring up the 300.

  7. 'Two slips to get Simpson'published at 15:10 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 338 v Sussex 152 & 296-9 f/o

    Mark Davis
Former Somerset seamer on BBC Radio Somerset

There's two slips in now to try and get Simpson out here.

Pretorius has been toiling away today.

You don't want to take Matt Henry off yet, but Ollie Robinson will have a go at Jack Leach.

  8. Postpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time 18 May

    Durham 548-5 v Notts 407

    Credit to the Notts bowlers.

They may not be taking wickets but they are keeping things toght and not allowing Durham quick runs.

Spoke too soon. Ollie Robinson climbs into a filthy drag down from Liam Patterson-White and smacks it into the LNER stand for his second maximum. He moves to 128.

The lead goes to 141 with 11 overs until tea.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:08 British Summer Time 18 May

    Gohar b Green 14 (Middlesex 232 & 125-7 - lead by 82 runs v Leics 274)

Leicestershire are working their way through Middlesex.

Ben Green bowls Zafar Gohar to pick up his second wicket of the innings and the hosts are seven down with just an 82-run lead.

  10. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:05 British Summer Time 18 May

    McAndrew c Rew b Henry 16 (Somerset 338 v Sussex 152 & 291-9 f/o - lead by 105 runs)

Somerset celebrate Matt Henry's wicket against SussexImage source, Getty Images

Are Somerset closing in on victory?

New Zealand star Matt Henry has bowled wonderfully today and he picks up his third wicket of the innings.

Another delivery on a nagging length forces Nathan McAndrew to dangle his bat at it outside off and it takes a nick on the way through to wicketkeeper James Rew.

One more wicket needed to bowl the visitors out as Ollie Robinson comes in at 11.

  11. Postpublished at 15:04 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 122-4 - target 310

Ed Barnard stands tall and gets off the mark second ball with a lovely backfoot drive through point off Brad Wheal.

The Hants bowler almost exacts swift revenge as he slides one past the outside edge of Barnard's prod.

  12. Postpublished at 15:02 British Summer Time 18 May

    Somerset 338 v Sussex 152 & 286-8 f/o - lead by 100 runs

Uh oh, Tom Lammonby. It's driven out to the extra cover boundary by Nathan McAndrew and Somerset's Lammonby gets round to it but it's a rare misfield as it goes straight through his hands for four.

Sussex could use a fair few more favours like that in this match...

Their lead is now into three figures.

  13. Postpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 18 May

    Surrey 512 v Yorkshire 255 & 37-2 - trail by 220 runs

James Wharton clips one very fine off Tom Lawes and it evades the diving Ben Foakes behind the stumps and runs away for four.

Wharton then picks up a couple more through the leg side to kick the scoreboard on a little bit further for Yorkshire.

  14. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:59 British Summer Time 18 May

    Webster lbw b Fuller 18 (Warwicks 117-4 - target 310)

Beau Webster is finally allowed to cut loose and thwacks Brad Wheal through straight extra cover for a cracking boundary.

But the next over he's out!

Another James Fuller in-swinger keeps low and thuds into Webster's pads. That looked pretty plum. Middle stump.

Ed Barnard joins Alex Davies with 193 more still required.

A lot of the Warwickshire hopes will rest on these two.

  15. GLOS ALL OUT FOR 516published at 14:58 British Summer Time 18 May

    Glos 516 v Kent 424

Tom Price is out for 76 before last man Ajeet Singh Dale departs shortly afterwards for two as Kent bring the Glos innings to an end.

Glos have a lead of 92.

  16. Postpublished at 14:56 British Summer Time 18 May

    Lancs 458 v Derbys 268-8

Ben Aitchinson lifts Tom Hartley back over his head for back-to-back boundaries.

    He goes to 16.

James Anderson looks to be warming up.

  17. Postpublished at 14:51 British Summer Time 18 May

    Warwicks 111-3 - target 310

Alex Davies survives another lbw appeal as a swinging James Fuller delivery keeps low and hits him on the pad.

The Bears skipper folds himself in two after the impact.

Maybe doing too much. Not out.

Davies dabs Fuller into the offside for a single to get off strike.

Just the one wicket to fall this afternoon so far, with 18 overs to tea.

    Beautiful bowling from Matt Henry.

Sussex have made a good fight of this, Hudson-Prentice gave a good account of himself today.

Somerset have still got some hard work ahead of them.

  19. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:49 British Summer Time 18 May

    Das lbw Waite 0 (Worcs 358 & 134 v Essex 157 & 45-4)

    It's unravelling for Essex.

Matthew Waite has two wickets without conceding a run in 2.2 overs.

Incredible stats there and it's another ball from the troublesome Diglis End that beats Robin Das as he tries to block and it smashes into his pads in front of the stumps.

Das departs without scoring - he was the one shining light for Essex with 44 in the first innings but not so this time.

  20. 50 runs

50 for Saif Zaibpublished at 14:48 British Summer Time 18 May

    Glamorgan 424 v Northants 185 & 193-6

Saif Zaib picks up a half-century and promptly moves on to 58 to become his side's top scorer in the second innings.

Northants still trail Glamorgan by 42.
