Knight survives three on-field dismissals in nervy innings against Bangladesh

  1. Ban 115-5published at 37 overs

Lauren Bell keeps it as straight as a die to Fahima Khatun, before dropping in a short ball with her fourth delivery. The Bangladesh batter swats it like she's got an insect buzzing around her eyeline but does not make contact.

One run off the over - another bouncer from Bell which is deemed too high to be a legal delivery.

It's been 37 balls since Bangladesh's last boundary.

That looked like a missed opportunity. Amy Jones is in a heap - I certainly heard something.

  3. dropped catch

Mostary dropped on 49published at 36 overs

A few nervy moments for Sobhana Mostary, who is unbeaten on 49.

There's a nudge into the leg side and she's sent back by Fahima Khatun.

Then fourth ball of the over Charlie Dean catches the outside edge of Mostary's bat but Amy Jones fumbles behind the stumps.

She still needs one run for her maiden ODI half-century.

  4. Ban 114-5published at 35 overs

Fahima Khatun takes on a bouncer from Lauren Bell and top edges it towards mid-wicket but the ball plops safely into the turf.

Sobhana Mostary has moved on to 49.

With the way England play spin, 180 could be a very good score for Bangladesh here.

Economy rate by bowler type today:

    • Pace - 5.54 runs per over
    • Spin - 1.86 runs per over
  7. Ban 109-5published at 34 balls

Fahima Khatun is the new batter and she's off the mark at the third time of asking, swivelling on her heels to a duff ball down leg side from Charlie Dean and helping it on its way.

You would imagine a lot on Sobhana Mostary's shoulders here to get Bangladesh towards something at least semi-competitive.

You always felt like something was around the corner. Spin has been so effective for England today.

A big old heave into the leg-side from Ritu Moni, pretty good connection but straight to Linsey Smith.

The umpires decide the fall of the wicket is the time for some refreshment.

England seem well on top here.

  11. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 33.2 overs

    Ritu c Smith b Dean 5 (Ban 108-5)

Ritu Moni, with her shirt collar buttoned up all the way to the top, decides now is the time for something more flamboyant...but it proves her downfall.

The Bangladesh batter skips down the pitch to Charlie Dean and swipes across the line. She's got the height but not the distances as Linsey Smith calmly strolls in a few paces and pouches a comfortable catch.

Ritu's five from 36 balls will not live long in the memory.

At what point are Bangladesh going to risk it? It is tough scoring out there but it would be nice to see them being more proactive.

England are whizzing through overs and they could get away with no more seam if they want to.

  13. Ban 108-4published at 33 overs

Inevitably, the folly of drinking back-to-back brews is the second cup of tea lacks the temperature of the first.

Another change of bowling here as Lauren Bell is summoned.

Her fifth over is bookended by singles for Ritu Moni and Sobhana Mostary.

Indore looks the flattest of all the pitches so do England bring Lauren Bell and Lauren Filer in or do they stick with the spinners? If both Laurens come in then who will miss out, I wonder?

  15. Ban 106-4published at 32 overs

Some nice flight and guile from Alice Capsey as she teases Sobhana Mostary outside off stump, and spins one past her outside edge.

Ritu Moni opens the face later in the over and guides it fine for a couple.

Half a chance at the end of the over when Moni gloved it down the leg side, but it would have been some take from England wicketkeeper Amy Jones.

  17. Ban 103-4published at 31 overs

Finished my first cup of tea, now about to start the second...

Bangladesh have their first boundary for quite some time when Sobhana Mostary square drives Nat Sciver-Brunt through the covers forr four. Nice shot.

And like number 10 buses, she has another four next ball via a thick edge which races through the vacant third region.

Bangladesh do not have to go for boundaries. You can get five runs an over just going for singles if you want to.

Almost some cricket breaking out as Ritu Moni skips down the pitch to Alice Capsey but she misses with a big waft. The Bangaldesh batter has one run off 24 balls.

    Another maiden slips by.
