Marufa has two wickets. It could easily have been three. This was the first...

Sanjida Akther Maghla replaces Nahida Akter at the other end. Left-arm spin replacing left-arm spin.

England could do with making hay at this end.

  3. Eng 30-2published at 7 overs

Beaten outside off stump to end the over!

This is electric. There are fielders charging everywhere.

Those 179 runs look a long way away when 20-year-old Marufa Akter is bowling.

So close! Just an inch missing the stumps.

Knight misses by the skin of her teeth.

  5. Not outpublished at 6.5 overs

Missing leg stump by a Tigresses whisker!

    Heather Knight survives somehow.

A crucial moment! Marufa Akter could well have three here.

  9. England reviewpublished at 14:45 BST 7 October

    KNIGHT GIVEN LBW!

It's Marufa again. This is huuuge.

Marufa Akter has that big hooping in-swing. She was always going to be the threat for England and they just need to get through her spell if they can.

Nat Sciver-Brunt is in earlier than she would have liked. If ever there was a woman for a crisis.

A really tight one! Just under half the ball was in-line but that is enough.

    Beaumont has to go.

    WICKETpublished at 6.1 overs

    Beaumont lbw b Marufa 13 (Eng 29-2)

OUT. It's that inswinger we mentioned again.

It was always going to come down to impact and whether it was in line with off stump. The ball tracking says it was doing so and after that the ball was going on to hit leg stump flush.

    England are wobbling.

  14. Postpublished at 14:41 BST 7 October

It's straight-ish. Might be umpire's call on impact...

  15. Bangladesh reviewpublished at 14:40 BST 7 October

Another review. Tammy Beaumont hit on the front pad.

The umpire said no on the field.

  16. Eng 26-1published at 6 overs

    Target 179

Marufa is going to begin a fourth over. How many more does she have in her legs?

I'd want two more at least.

Test Match Special commentator on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra

On the way to the ground we were speculating that Tammy Beaumont might struggle against Marufa Akter's inswingers. But in fact she averages 49 against inswing so is possibly the best England player to counter it.

  18. Eng 25-1published at 5.3 overs

Heather Knight joins in on the boundary hitting off the bowling of Nahida Akter...

  19. Eng 21-1published at 5.1 overs

Bangladesh need invest in human cloning.

Tammy Beaumont guides a four as pressure releases at the other end.

  20. Eng 17-1published at 5 overs

    Target 179

Marufa charges in with her eyes wide and then whips the ball arms in a flash of arms and legs.

Again she beats Heather Knight in this over and thinks there's an edge. None of her team-mates are interested.
