Right then, two overs to go. Can Jess Ker, who is 36 not out, get herself a half-century? Will England bowl the White Ferns out?

  2. NZ 124-7published at 18 overs

A boundary for Lea Tahuhu who gives herself some room to Freya Kemp's fourth ball and plays a forehand slap through mid-off which brings her four.

    She's been watching Wimbledon, clearly.

Freya Kemp back into the attack for England and Lea Tahuhu is unable to get her away.

    Two dots.

    Target 198

One positive for New Zealand is how well Jess Kerr is playing here. She picks up another boundary with a slap into the leg side off Charlie Dean.

England have taken their foot off the gas a little here.

That was a little bit of cat and mouse and Charlie Dean is the winner on this occasion.

    Halliday b Dean 17 (NZ 110-7)

Brooke Halliday's luck had to run out eventually.

She gets the ball over mid-on to pick up a boundary off Charlie Dean's first ball but she's on her way next ball.

Halliday attempts to sweep the England spinner with a premeditated shot but Dean spot her moving early and, bowling round the wicket, was able to dart one low at the stumps which bowls the Kiwi.

She's done remarkably well to get any hands on that with how hard Brooke Halliday hit it.

  9. dropped catch

Halliday dropped on 12published at 15.1 overs

Brooke Halliday has another lucky escape. She pummels the ball back at Nat Sciver-Brunt but it's hit with such power that the England all-rounder cannot hold on to a sharp caught-and-bowled chance.

New Zealand's collapse of four wickets for five runs is the worse second to sixth-wicket collapse suffered by a full-member nation in a women's T20.

  13. NZ 100-6published at 15 overs

    Target 198

Sarah Glenn finishes with an impressive 3-16.

Linesey Smith back with her left-arm darts and Jess Kerr drives her first ball through the covers for four, but the England spinner is back on the money for the remainder of the over.

This has been the story of the tour so far. New Zealand have got themselves into positions of parity but then fell away.

Those collapses aren't going to win you many games of cricket, let alone on a fabulous surface like we've got here. I don't know why the collapse though, there isn't any spin or variable bounce.

I can't fathom how it has happened yet again today.

  15. NZ 97-6published at 14 overs

Positive strokeplay from Brooke Halliday brings her a boundary.off Sarah Glenn's third ball with a clinical sweep.

Here's that second wicket for Glenn from a few moments ago.

  16. dropped catch

Halliday dropped on sixpublished at 13.1 overs

Brooke Halliday gets a lucky escape. She dances down the pitch to Sarah Glenn and hits the ball in the direction of Charlie Dean who dives in the covers but is unable to hold on to a tough one-handed chance.

  17. NZ 85-6published at 13 overs

Three back-to-back boundaries from Jess Kerr off Sophie Ecclestone, although the second was a little bit fortuitous as she cuts the England left-arm spinner and the ball just drops short of Sarah Glenn at backward point.

I'm looking forward to seeing how clinical England can be here. They will win this game, it is just about how they win this game.

How well has Sarah Glenn bowled today? She was a little expensive in the last ODI, but she's been bang on the money today. This format really suits her.
