  2. 'We are in a nice position'published at 21:12 BST 19 August

    Trent Rockets

Trent Rockets captain David Willey, speaking to BBC Two: "Always nice to get early balls, especially against these guys. Getting early balls was really important.

"Sometimes you get the feel you should go again."

On his celebration: "Swanny [Graeme Swann] has been by himself doing the rocket, so I thought I would."

On Rockets' performance: "We knew how we wanted to go about it with the ball. Home advantage, it was about getting the result, and we have done that.

"They probably went a bit short and wide at times, and we were able to capitalise on that."

On captaincy: "Loving it. Enjoying how Andy [Flower] goes about it. We have some good combinations with bat and ball, and it makes my job easier.

"Everyone has played a lot of franchise cricket now. We are in a nice position, and we have a massive game on Thursday."

  3. 'We didn't quite get it right'published at 21:08 BST 19 August

    Manchester Originals

Manchester Originals captain Phil Salt on his catch on BBC Two: "Can we see a replay of it? Come, get it up. I wasn't sure if I grounded it to be perfectly honest!

On the toss: "On surfaces like that, obviously it's a challenge coming away from home, you've got to assess something so different as that, it is a massive toss. I don't know, I'll be honest we were going to bat anyway, we feel like that's been our strongest suit. But that would have been a wrong call, we didn't quite get it right, did we?

"It is a chasing competition. For whatever reason, I don't really know, because you don't see much dew coming. I think it's probably just that assessment of the wickets, we're playing a lot of hybrids these days, it can be quite tricky with the new ball just to know what a good total is, so more often that not it's a good call at the toss to put that ball in the other team's court."

On Josh Tongue and Sonny Baker: "I feel like our point of difference is not only their air speed but their skill. When they both get it right we're obviously well ahead of the game. You can't ask for that every game though, because that would be getting greedy, but when they get it right they always put us in a good position.

"Your plan A is always the 90mph stuff. But I feel like it's a tricky balance to get right, when the scorecard is looking as it did when we were bowling. Because you take the pace off too many, all of a sudden one of them's got back and across and they've gone boundary, boundary and all the pressure that was there is relieved. It's a really tricky one, one we spoke about for a lot of that innings.

On whether his side can dust themselves down: "Yeah, I think you have to. There's no time for wobbly bottom lips in this is there, it all comes thick and fast. It's a bit of a cliche I know, but we're going to have to pick the bones out of it and see what we could have done better tonight - which, to be fair, was a fair bit, but we've got Birmingham on Sunday at home at Old Trafford, that's a good chance to get back on the horse."

  4. 'See ball, hit ball'published at 21:02 BST 19 August

    Trent Rockets

Trent Rockets' Rehan Ahmed, speaking to BBC Two: "It has been alright. Nice to get the opportunity with the bat this summer with Leicester and here.

"I don't tend to bowl very well that wickets spin as I overcomplicate it, but it is good to get two wickets.

"I was trying to hit the stumps every ball. David Willey bowled well up front, so it kept us up top.

"I have been training a lot with Jonathan Trott. It is a clear plan. See ball, hit ball.

"We have got a great team. We have all the batting and death bowling."

A last throw of the dice for Originals as Phil Salt checks if Rehan Ahmed has got any glove on the ball as a Scott Currie bouncer flew past his ribs.

    He didn't.

  9. Rockets 95-3published at 30 balls left

    Out!

    ...or maybe not.

Rehan Ahmed smacks Noor Ahmad out to Matty Hurst at cover and the catch is taken.

The batter walks off the field but the batters take a look - Noor is too wide of his crease!

That's a rarity - and two no ball runs for Rockets.

Rehan heads back to the middle, David Willey has to go back to the dug-out - he's welcomed back with laughter and bit of sarcastic applause.

A fourth four for Rehan Ahmed, slog-sweeping Noor Ahmad through backward square and getting over the ropes with one bounce.

  14. Rockets 79-3published at 40 balls left

Trent Rockets coach Peter Moores, speaking to BBC Two: "It is going well at the moment. We bowled really well.

"We have made it hard work for them. It is a wicket which you have to stay positive on."

On his son, Tom Moores' Rockets performance: "Tom is loving it. It shows the speed of sport. He came in from nowhere in the last game.

"I got used to it [watching his son]. The way I do it, I treat them all like my son in some way.

"So pleased for him in the last game as he has worked hard."

  16. Rockets 75-3published at 45 balls left

    24 runs needed

Just a single and a wide off the rest of the set, but still a costly set as Rockets surge towards victory.

Ravindra has gone for 1-20 from his 15 balls thus far.

He heaves Rachin Ravindra's first delivery out through square for a one-bounce four, then sends the ball flying to clear the ropes at mid-wicket.

While he did that his Dad, Rockets coach Peter Moores, was talking to BBC Two and didn't get to see his boundaries.

We'll have highlights at the end of the match, Peter.
