What a grab that is from Jemimah Rodrigues. Brilliant.

I have seen massive improvement from India's fielding in the last couple of years.

It was low, to the ground, a dive to get there, and it was magnificent from Rodrigues.

Stunning catch. England are in real trouble.

That could be a crucial wicket.

Jemimah Rodrigues takes a strong grab, diving forward at mid-wicket to catch England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt just above the ground.

After rebuilding England's innings from those two early wickets, both England's set batters have fallen to Sneh Rana.

There's the first boundary in a while for England as Nat Sciver-Brunt guides Amanjot Kaur's first ball past mid-wicket for four.

Just their third since the end of the powerplay, and the first since the 13th over.

Sophia Dunkley is the new batter and she sees out three dot balls after Rana initially sends down a wide.

    A soft dismissal.

That was there for the taking, but Emma Lamb didn't commit. That is the wicket India were looking for.

    A big wicket for India.

    Chipped to the India captain!

England hadn't scored a boundary since the 13th over, did Emma Lamb try and force it off Sneh Rana?

I think the shot was there to be made, to be honest, but Lamb didn't get hold of her drive, hitting towards mid-off where Harmanpreet Kaur shifts and takes the catch above her head.

The end of a 71-run partnership - and I'd like to point out that my colleague wrote that previous Emma Lamb stat entry, so you can't blame me for her wicket.

If England can get Emma Lamb in form, they have a real run-getter on their hands. Since 2020, she averages 43.85 in domestic one-day cricket, hitting four centuries and scoring at a strike-rate of 86. In her last 10 innings, she averages 65. In contrast, she averages 32.8 in ODIs and strikes at 89.

Still off-breaks at this end, as Sneh Rana replaces Deepti Sharma.

She concedes three singles from her first three deliveries, then sends down three dot balls to Nat Sciver-Brunt.

The first of those dots is sent to short-midwicket by the England captain - bouncing low just in front of Smriti Mandhana.

    Is that a chance? Debatable.

England are well on course at the moment if they don't lose a wicket in the next 10-to-15 overs.

They don't have to do anything differently. The runs are coming quite easily. There is no real urge of pressure.

It is a very measured innings from Emma Lamb and Nat Sciver-Brunt.

  11. Eng 85-2published at 16 overs

A tidy third over from Shree Charani, conceding just two singles.

Charani, 20, has played five internationals in each of the 50 and 20-over formats prior to today - playing all her ODIs in a triangular series in Sri Lanka in April and May, then featuring in every T20 game against England this summer.

Emma Lamb works a couple of twos off Deepti Sharma, clearing mid-on and then sending the ball through fine leg.

She's on 36 from 44 balls at the end of the over, with Nat Sciver-Brunt on a run-a-ball 32.

It looks a beautiful pitch to bat on. Since losing those two wickets, they have batted beautifully. The intent is there.

I think England are in a very good position. After losing those two wickets it seemed like there might be a wobble.

Emma Lamb and Nat Sciver-Brunt have batted beautifully. They have played the spinners really well.

In her T20I debut series, Shree Charani blew away the England batters, taking 10 wickets at 14.80. Through the series, she found comfortably more spin than any other bowler (2.4° v next highest, Radha Yadav 1.8°).

Alex Hartley said she'd eat her microphone if this was out and the good news is the BBC won't have to be buying any new kit as this, as it looked, is way outside the line.

Nat Sciver-Brunt sweeps for four and then drops to attempt a paddle shot from the next delivery and is struck on the base of the pads.

She appears to be outside the line, but Deepti Sharma convinces her captain that this is worth a look.

To the third umpire we go.
