The doom and gloom continue while Rohit Sharma is in the middle. Gus Atkinson goes short and is deservedly punished. Four more.

This is sublime, controlled batting from the Indian openers. They’ve put away any lapses of length from the England bowlers without taking many risks.

It's described on comms as "relaxed" but he only needed 45 balls to get there. Slow compared to Rohit Sharma but no slouch.

Boom. Excellent footwork from Rohit Sharma as he dispatches Mark Wood through extra cover for four.
India don't seem at all bothered by Wood's 140kph+ deliveries.

When he gets it right, Adil Rashid is causing India's batters a few issues. He's getting some turn and finishes the over with a slower delivery which goes under Rohit Sharma's bat.
But every over, England are gifting India a boundary ball.
Rohit Sharma is making batting look very easy.
Adil Rashid bowls too short and Rohit cuts it away for four. That felt almost inevitable.
