    We've got a heavy shower here at Stormont but there's blue sky in the distance and hope springs eternal that we will see Ireland bat tonight.

    Zimbabwe collapsed from a strong position although it was a wonderful Irish bowling display this afternoon.

    Let's hope it clears up and we get to see more action on day one.

    Tendai Chatara is the last Zimbabwe batter to lose his wicket as he is caught by Lorcan Tucker off Barry McCarthy for a duck.

    Tanaka Chivanga is the man left at the crease on 7.

    From 97-0, Zimbabwe's dramatic collapse sees them all out for 210, their last six wickets falling for 16 runs. Their innings lasted 71.3 overs.

    McCarthy, he ended with figures of 3-42.

    The afternnon definitely belongs to Ireland as McBrine's quick-fire double puts them on top.

    Those wickets were met by celebrations from the home supporters and they can sense the tide is turning,

    Zimbabwe have lost their six wickets for under 100 runs and Ireland might even be batting before the close of play.
