Tanaka Chivanga never looked comfortable out there.

What a brilliant review, everything happened so quickly but the bowler knew.

Tanaka Chivanga begins the slow walk off.

Atkinson's yorker gets his pad and three reds on HawkEye.

Zimbabwe are eight down. Place your bets. Will we see the follow-on enforced tonight?

It could've shaved the front part of the pad. Will it hit the wickets though?

That's interesting. It was very full and looked pretty straight from here.

  6. England reviewpublished at 61.4 overs

Gus Atkinson turns and roars at Kumar Dharmasena. He thinks he's got an lbw.

Ben Stokes goes for the review.

There's a lot to like about Shoaib Bashir. He's definitely one to watch for the future.

  8. Zim 257-7published at 61 overs

To avoid the follow-on, Zimbabwe have to get to 416. Of course, there's no guarantee England will enforce it. They don't have to.

It's very unlikely that Zimbabwe will reach that follow on total.

    Drinks - Zim 256-7published at 60 overs

Well, that was a quite baffling over. That review came completely out of the blue.

Time for drinks. Tanaka Chivanga will resume on two (17) while Blessing Muzarabani has three (11).

That was one of the most extraordinary reviews I've seen. All because Zak Crawley thought he heard something.

  13. Not out - Zim 256-7published at 17:16 British Summer Time

There wasn't an appeal from the bowler or the wicketkeeper. Chivanga wasn't at all concerned. And there wasn't any hint of bat. Carry on.

  14. England reviewpublished at 59.2 overs

Zak Crawley gives a half-hearted appeal from cover and England have reviewed a possible caught behind against Tanaka Chivanga...

Shoaib Bashir is getting some genuine spin out there at the moment.

I decided to make my own bat for a project! Never made one before so it's a massive learning curve! Has taken me since January. I must admit I did cheat a bit and buy a pre-pressed blank, as I don't have the machinery to press the bat. The blank was very rough and out of shape so lots and lots of carving and sanding. Nearing the end of the innings with the bat with a few finishing sanding touches, oiling, and putting on the rubber grip!

  18. Zim 254-7published at 58 overs

A maiden over from Gus Atkinson at Trent Bridge.

Excitingly, we've had a reply from Grumbles (16:55) about his bat-making project...

  19. Zim 254-7published at 57 overs

I have a feeling this partnership between Blessing Muzarabani and Tanaka Chivanga is going to be a lot of fun. There's a lot of big swinging going on.
