We haven't seen the ball move much but Ben Stokes moved it a bit there on what should've been a wicket.

  5. Zim 172-3published at 37 overs

    Bennett 91, Raza 4

Joe Root has taken that catch hundreds of times in his career and practice. His big mate Ben Stokes can't believe it.

Brian Bennett could scamper his way into the nineties too.

There's no such thing as an easy slip catch but that was as easy as it goes. It was about hip height, one that Joe Root would normally take.

That would've been a golden return for Ben Stokes if that catch was taken.

    Oh no. Oh no.

Ben Stokes' first ball is a no-ball but the second is edged to Joe Root by Brian Bennett.

It's a simple chance at first slip for Root but somehow his mate spills it.

Shoaib Bashir puts down a tough caught and bowled chance. It was hit hard by Sikandar Raza to the spinner's right.

Bashir dives but only gets a fingertip on the ball. He's cut that finger too and is going to have to leave the field.

Bashir certainly looks more comfortable with Sikandar Raza on strike too. The new batter hasn't found his groove yet, meaning Bashir can impose himself.

You would think Ben Stokes will keep Bashir going now he's got a couple of wickets. The next change would be either Atkinson back for another spell or Stokes.

  15. Zim 164-3published at 34 overs

    Bennett 88, Raza 0

Brian Bennett or Brian Lara? Now the Harare-born right-hander just dabs his bat on one to run it to the third man boundary.

He's not fussed when it comes to facing Sam Cook, who has leaked eight runs in the over.

Brian Bennett. I'd never heard of him until today. One of the great things about cricket is it's uncanny ability to conjure up interesting stories. This could well be the most memorable day of his career. Hope he gets a ton.

That is quite a good piece of bowling. The ball that was swept for four was quite slow. That was significantly quicker. I think there was a change of pace there.

It slightly deceived Williams. That will improve his confidence hugely.
