    Commentator's curse, Vic?

Michael Bracewell's seventh over goes for 11, including a monstrous six over mid-wicket from the bat of Rassie van der Dussen.

South Africa aren't short on batting firepower but his wicket would be a huge breakthrough for New Zealand.

The spinners have done quite a good job here.

Michael Bracewell has been one of the finds of the tournament. He hasn't got any wickets yet here but he's doing well. He's also bowled six overs in a row which doesn't often happen.

A wide and a couple of singles to finish a good over from Mitchell Santner.

Easy catch. It was nicely bowled by Mitch Santner really, teasing Temba Bavuma to play the big shot.

Temba Bavuma was looking to loft it over extra cover but that's good bowling form Mitch Santner. That one might've gripped a fraction but Bavuma wasn't in the right place to play that shot.

New Zealand have finally got the breakthrough and it's well deserved.

    Bavuma c Williamson b Santner 56 (SA 125-2)

Mitchell Santner breaks the partnership! That's a big wicket for New Zealand.

A flighted delivery from the spinner is misread by Temba Bavuma and he finds Kane Wiliamson at backward point.

  8. SA 125-1published at 22 overs

    Target 363

South Africa are running well between the wickets. Three singles and a couple of twos from the 22nd.

  9. 50 runs

50 for Van der Dussenpublished at 21.5 overs

    SA 124-1

A very understated reaction from Rassie van der Dussen as he brings up his half-century off 51 balls. A brief wave of the bat. He knows his job is far from done.

The game is still in the balance. South Africa have still got some big hitters to come, they just need this partnership to get them in range.

  11. SA 118-1published at 21 overs

    Target 363

Another 11 runs knocked off the target.

Neither side has grabbed control of this match. New Zealand bowl a tight over and South Africa respond with a flurry of runs from the next six balls.

That's the first time Rassie van der Dussen has opened his shoulders. That was a good shot.

  13. 6 runs

    SA 114-1published at 20.2 overs

Rassie van der Dussen pumps Mitchell Santner over long-on for six. It's been a while since we saw one of those.

Was Temba Bavuma dropped by Kane Williamson off the previous ball? Given the standard of New Zealand's fielding and the bar set by Glenn Phillips, you'd say he probably was, but it was firmly struck to mid-wicket and he was diving full length. It would've been a spectacular catch.

    SA 107-1

A calm single brings up Temba Bavuma's half-century off 64 deliveries.

It's been an excellent innings from the South Africa captain, who started agonisingly slowly but has played himself in.

  19. SA 106-1published at 19 overs

The penultimate ball of the 19th over turns sharply, beats Temba Bavuma's bat and whistles over his off stump.

Mitchell Santner has an anguished expression and his hands on his head. He can't believe he hasn't got a wicket.
