If you look at it in T20 terms, 182 runs needed from 114 with four gone is quite a big task.

  2. SA 181-4published at 31 overs

    Target 363

Rachin Ravindra replaces Mitch Santner, who has bowled superbly for his 3-29 and crucially, still has three overs remaining.

No respect from David Miller for the part-timer, though. Launched over mid-off for four.

The loss of Heinrich Klaasen has been a key one for New Zealand. You feel like he could've taken them through the middle overs.

On the odd occasion, Aiden Markram has set the word alight. Can he do it again?

  4. SA 174-4published at 30 overs

189 runs needed from 20 overs

A much-needed four from Aiden Markram relieves a bit of the pressure on South Africa's batters. They're 174-4 after 30 overs.

Can they still win this? Ffion Wynne will be your guide for the remainder of the chase.

The wicket of Heinrich Klaasen reduced South Africa's chances of winning from 24% to 6% - game over?

Subtle but very effective variation from Mitchell Santner to dismiss Rassie van der Dussen.

The wicket delivery turned 4.4 degrees - the biggest turning of the 15 Santner deliveries faced by the right-hander. It was also released closest to the stumps by Santner, deceiving van der Dussen with the extra drift and turn.

What an over from Mitchell Santner, bringing the wicket of Heinrich Klaasen and just one run.

Can David Miller save South Africa?

    Klaasen c Henry b Santner 3 (SA 167-4)

Mitchell Santner can do no wrong! Another big wicket for the skipper as Heinrich Klaasen departs for three.

However, Matt Henry, who ran in to take an excellent low catch, looks in some discomfort. A physio is out treating his right shoulder. He landed very awkwardly.

That's much better from Will O'Rourke. His previous over went for 14. This time, a much tidier four runs conceded, all in singles.

That just tightens the screw a little because chasing a big total in a semi-final is added pressure.

Heinrich Klaasen gets off the mark with a single. South Africa are back in the rebuilding phase.

Van der Dussen has been done by a beautiful delivery by Santner.

Van der Dussen is standing there devastated. It's gone straight through him.

Van der Dussen b Santner 69 (SA 161-3)

Mitchell Santner - who else? - grabs the crucial wicket of Rassie van der Dussen.

That was an excellent delivery from the skipper, with the ball straightening late and rearranging the stumps.

Both set batters are back in the changing room.

I thought New Zealand's issue would always be how they would control things outside of Mitchell Santner's overs.

  16. SA 157-2published at 26 overs

    Target 363

That's not a great over from Will O'Rourke and not a great bowling change from Mitchell Santner.

Both Aiden Markram and Rassie van der Dussen have his number. A fuller delivery, a short ball, and a wide delivery are all dispatched to the rope.

    14 from it.

  17. SA 147-2published at 25.1 overs

Will O'Rourke comes back into the attack and is driven for four by Aiden Markram.

Well Harshad, the halfway mark of South Africa's innings feels like an appropriate time for a poll. Who's joining India in the final? Thumbs up for New Zealand. Thumbs down for South Africa.

Four singles from Mitchell Santner's fifth over.
