This has been a good start with the ball from Jason Holder after his batting fireworks.

Jos Buttler gets a big cheer from this Bristol crowd as he joins Ben Duckett in the middle.

  6. Eng 7-0published at 1 over

    Target 197

Akeal Hosein is not really turning the ball. He's almost swinging it in like a seamer.

Ben Duckett gets down low to sweep the first boundary at the end of the over.

  7. Eng 1-0published at 0.3 overs

Akeal Hosein is second in the global T20 rankings. It is not easy to get after him.

  8. Eng 0-0published at 0.1 overs

Spinner Akeal Hosein, who was on his flight from Trinidad this morning, begins with a dot.

And that chase is about to begin.

I'm not ruling England out. They need 197 runs to win.

Jamie Smith and Ben Duckett will need to get the hosts off to a good start.

Luke Wood has had a good day on his first England appearance since September 2023.

He took 2-25 from four overs and took a very good catch on the boundary.

Hope hits two sixes over long off in Carse over

With a flurry of sixes off Rashid at the backend, West Indies have hit more sixes (15) than fours (11) in today's game.

This is the 56th time West Indies have hit more sixes than fours in a T20I innings, way above the second ranked side (New Zealand, 20 times).

Thanks Mike. That powerful late hitting has got West Indies to a good score but it's not an unassailable one.

Remember one of these boundaries is only 55m long. Runs are there to be had.

A rather tasty chase is in the offing.

Can England maintain their unbeaten summer?

For a lot of this game I thought there was something in the surface. At the back end of the innings, how Jason Holder batted, he just stood there and played the ball on its merit. Everyone else struggled.

I don't know about the surface.

What a conclusion to the innings. It has been brutal hitting.

  18. 6 runs

    WI 196-6published at 20 overs

    Finishes with six!

Roston Chase makes the most of his one ball at the crease, hitting Luke Wood flat and hard down the ground.

Luke Wood finishes with handy figures of 2-25, albeit 16 of those runs came from this over, with the West Indies hitting 47 from the last two overs and 75 from the last four.

Will a target of 197 be enough given Bristol's short boundaries?

    We'll soon find out.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 19.5 overs

Shepherd run out (Buttler) 19 (WI 190-6)

Tries to hurry through a single... it's not there.

Pace off from Luke Wood and Jason Holder can't connect with the ball running through to Jos Buttler.

Romario Shepherd has been backing up hard and tries to come through for the single, but Buttler spots him coming and rolls the ball onto the stumps.

  20. WI 190-5published at 19.4 overs

A couple of singles, before Holder adds four more, stretching to get bat on ball and sending it through third.
