That is just a ridiculous shot, isn't it? It's not a bad delivery, Buttler goes for the reverse sweep and then adjusts and hits it in the air.

'How do you play that shot?' - Buttler switches stance to hit Motie for six

    Brilliant. Just brilliant.

Jos Buttler turns his stance around to be a left-hander and swings Motie's spin for six over his shoulder.

The way Motie varies the pace of his deliveries - it's an absolute super strength of his.

At first I thought Buttler had crunched that, but he didn't quite get hold of it.

    Duckett 27, Buttler 26

One hand comes off Jos Buttler's bat as if the handle has been heated like a poker as he mistimes the ball into the off side. It goes high and two fielders chase it but fortunately for Buttler is falls safe to cheers from the crowd.

That's the powerplay done. It's pretty even.

A crunching straight drive from Jos Buttler brings England four more.

  8. Eng 51-1published at 5.3 overs

Will West Indies rue this drop of Ben Duckett from a couple of overs ago? Evin Lewis didn't move as quickly as he'd like.

'Lovely shot' - Duckett hits ramp behind the wicket for six

Ben Duckett gets away with one as he sets off for a single, is sent back and would have been out had the throw hit. The left-hander did go for the full-length dive but he's a small man. That's not as helpful as it is for others.

The Nottinghamshire man takes advantage by cutting four from the next delivery and then sensationally scooping a six over the keeper.

    England are on the move.

Buttler is averaging the best part of 40 in the past 12 months, largely batting at three, in fairness. He did that role in the IPL this year too and averaged 60.

What is the rationale for Jos Buttler batting at three when he has played so much of his T20 England career as an opener and is arguably one of our best ever in the white ball team?

Cheeky little back heel from Jos Buttler.

And now Buttler's managed to shin the ball for four while attempting a scoop.

Ben Duckett is saying to Jos Buttler, "Oh well, doesn't matter, it went to the boundary", and I like that attitude.

Another reverse sweep from Ben Duckett and another four. This one should have been taken by Evin Lewis in the 30-yard circe though. He parries it like a goalkeeper.

  19. Eng 15-1published at 2.1 overs

A remarkable swishing reverse sweep gets Ben Duckett his second four.

  20. Eng 11-1published at 2 overs

    Target 197

Jos Buttler lifts his arms and leaves the final ball of Jason Holder outside off stump.

It has been a tight start.
