That's it from us for this evening. Fairly short and sweet after a no-nonsense performance from England.

You can read Ffion Wynne's excellent report from Hove here.

The T20 series is won - a good start for the Edwards and Sciver-Brunt regime - and they'll go for the clean sweep at Chelmsford on Monday.

Will West Indies be able to find something different to stop them?

Join us on bank holiday Monday to find out - it's an earlier start time of 14:30 BST. See you then!

I can't really see West Indies winning the third game.

But this Windies team sometimes come out and play the weirdest cricket you have ever seen. Hayley Matthews could get another hundred and Stafanie Taylor could get some runs on the board too, so England will need to wary.

Nat Sciver-Brunt's 50 off 27 balls is her second quickest in a T20I, just behind her 24-ball effort against India in Northampton in 2021. It is also the quickest by an English captain in a T20I.

Going into this, we knew England were going to win when they were going to play West Indies. They are still the second best team in the world. They were going to dominated the tourists.

There is no pressure in this series as they are so much better.

But what has been great is how clinical they have been in these two games.

  5. 'Set a high standard in first game and topped that here'published at 21:15 British Summer Time

England captain Nat Sciver-Brunt: "Happy days. The bowlers set up the game beautifully today. We made use of the powerplay really well. When someone who is playing only the second game of her career [Em Arlott] asks to bowl all four overs on the trot, it's great.

On her form: "Cricket is a funny game. My innings lasted just two balls the other night and I hit a boundary in the first ball I faced today. It's funny that way.

"We set a pretty high standard for ourselves in the first game and we probably topped that here with our performance today. It's a great energy builder for us."

On the third and final T20I: "We head off to Chelmsford now and prepare in the way that we do. We won't take it lightly."

  6. 'A steep learning curve'published at 21:13 British Summer Time

West Indies captain Hayley Matthews, speaking to Sky Sports: "It's obviously a bit disappointing. We knew coming here it was going to be a tough tour, missing some of our seasoned campaigners like Deandra Dottin and Chinelle Henry.

"Obviously a lot to ask from the girls, who are inexperienced. We'd obviously like to compete a bit better but we'll have to see how that goes in the next one."

On keeping players confidence up: "Just keep encouraging them. It definitely has nothing to do with the effort that they're putting in.

"We're asking girls who have probably played 30 or 40 matches ever in domestic cricket to perform on the international stage and it's always going to be hard.

"It's also hard to ask coaches to come to this level and turn girls into magic when we don't have a proper system to come through a lot of the time.

"We have to keep encouraging them and make sure they're having fun while they're playing as well.

"This is always going to be good for them, it's a steep learning curve. The mistakes we make as a team, we're all going to learn from together."

  7. 'We were great as a unit today'published at 21:10 British Summer Time

Player of the match, England seamer Em Arlott: "We were great as a unit today. Everybody stood up and did their job. It's usually two or three players who do well when a team wins.

"But today, I felt everybody was on it. Full credit to the team. The girls were great today.

"The mood in the camp is obviously great. It's a great group of girls. They have been great in welcoming me in. It's been easy for me. It's credit to them really."

Most deliveries remaining in a winning chase for England:

    • 87 balls v West Indies, Bridgetown, 2022
    • 64 balls v West Indies, Today
    • 62 balls v West Indies, Chester-le-Street, 2012

Nat Sciver-Brunt scored the winning runs in the first two instances, while Charlotte Edwards did the same in the match in 2012.

Even if it doesn't feel like there is any pressure in this scenario against a weaker opposition, there are ways in which England can replicate that by going out there with the intent.

Nat Sciver-Brunt, early on in her tenure as the England captain, has put her hand up and said follow my lead. It was Ben Stokes who put his hand up and said he was going to show how to play when the Bazball was kind of invented.

Sciver-Brunt, I think, wants to do the exact same thing for the England women and show them this aggressive nature that they've always talked about.

Perhaps the only moment of doubt for England came when Danni Wyatt-Hodge was bowled first ball of the chase.

That Nat Sciver-Brunt came in and hit the next ball for four quickly removed any such worries...

England wanted to get back to winning ways and they have won this T20I series with a game to spare. It was all too easy in the first game and this game as well.

It was a poor display from West Indies but take nothing away from how England bowled today and how Nat Sciver-Brunt batted there.

England take an unassailable 2-0 lead in the T20 series then.

That appeared inevitable from very early on - pretty much from the moment Hayley Matthews was dismissed in the fourth over.

West Indies crumbled and finished 81-9. That was never going to be enough.

Nat Sciver-Brunt's fine half-century ensured it absolutely was not.

Sophia Dunkley punches the air and England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt has a big grin on her face. It's a comprehensive win for England and it always felt inevitable.

It is a fantastic effort from the West Indies fielder there and she saves the boundary as well.

But it brings up the 50 for Nat Sciver-Brunt. The captain really wants to send a message to her team-mates on how to chase this down and the intent she wants them to show.

Nat Sciver-Brunt goes to her half-century from 27 balls.

She nails the ball high into the leg side, it looks like six but just holds up and Cherry-Ann Fraser has half a chance in the deep.

The fielder dives but can't quite cling on - it would have been a brilliant grab.

Looking at the field that has been set for Nat Sciver-Brunt with a long-on as well, any width outside the off stump will be punished.

Lovely cover drive from Sophia Dunkley to end the over... but straight to the fielder.

The end is nigh for West Indies regardless. England are closing in on a T20 series win.
