England won the toss, chose to bowl and it's all going to plan.

Another great delivery from Em Arlott, just takes the pace off it, nips a bit off the surface and hit straight to Charlie Dean.

England have been clinical in the field today.

  3. wicket

    Taylor c Dean b Arlott 0 (WI 29-4)

Back in the side and back in the dugout.

Stafanie Taylor departs for a duck after picking out Charlie Dean at short extra cover. As simple a catch as you like for the fielder.

Em Arlott has three wickets in only her second game for England.

It could be a very tedious first innings now.

I hope not and Stafanie Taylor can be a very dangerous player.

West Indies need these two to not only build a partnership but also get going a bit here.

  5. WI 29-3published at 5 overs

    Campbelle 11, Taylor 0

All of that unites Stafanie Taylor and Shemaine Campbelle, who are playing their first game of the series, in the middle.

Taylor seems to be in good nick as she finds the rope twice in Lauren Bell's over - first over backward point and then straight down the track.

Taylor, meanwhile, is yet to face her first delivery.

I was so surprised there - she has taken it behind her. I genuinely thought it had gone past.

We saw a brilliant catch from Lauren Bell in the last game, this one is better.

An absolute belter from Dunkley at mid-wicket! One-handed and she plucks it out of the sea air.

  8. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 3.5 overs

    James c Dunkley b Arlott 6 (WI 18-3)

What a catch from Sophia Dunkley!

Zaida James tries to lift one over the in-field but Dunkley plucks it out of thin air, with one hand. That's a great bit of fielding from her.

And Em Arlott has two wickets in her second over.

Massive moment in this game and well bowled from Em Arlott.

Much fuller, much straighter and Hayley Matthews loses her shape trying to hit over the leg side.

I don't want to say it... but that is the game.

Lauren Bell's wicket ball to Qiana Joseph swung 3.6 degrees. When she dismissed Joseph in the first T20I, she swung it 3.7 degrees.

Of all Bell's dismissals in her T20I career, these two deliveries have swung the most.

That is a big moment in the game - leg stump out of the ground.

The worry for a West Indies side that relies so much on one player is how will the others respond?

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 3.3 overs

    Matthews b Arlott 6 (WI 17-2)

    Hayley Matthews departs!

Em Arlott has clean bowled the West Indies skipper, who scored the major share of her side's total in the first T20I, and the tourists are in trouble here.

The Windies opener tried to play across the line but cannot and loses the leg stump!

It'll be interesting to see how Hayley Matthews goes today and whether she'll feel extra pressure after the first game.

She got 100, the rest of the team got 46.

  14. WI 12-1published at 3 overs

    James 6, Matthews 0

England skipper Nat Sciver-Brunt turns to the Left-arm spin of Linsey Smith now.

And the squeeze is well and truly on here from the hosts.

Hayley Matthews takes a single off the first ball but Smith did not give an inch to Zaida James to end the over with five dots.

Em Arlott has been very open and honest talking about her first England call-up against India all those years ago.

She said it would have been too soon if she'd played. So she's got her cricket into a much better place in the last three or four years.

  16. WI 11-1published at 2 overs

    James 6, Matthews 0

Em Arlott is on for England from the other end and bowls an excellent over.

After four dot balls in a row, Hayley Matthews, who scored an unbeaten century in the opener, gets off the mark with a single on the off side.

That's the only run off that second over.

Lovely looking shot from Zaida James. No chance of stopping that.

  18. WI 10-1published at 1 over

    James 6, Matthews 0

Zaida James is the new batter in and joins skipper Hayley Matthews in the middle.

She is off the mark with a couple straight away and then slaps Laren Bell's fifth ball to the boundary.

West Indies pick up 10 runs from the first over but lose the important wicket of Qiana Joseph.

Lauren Bell didn't give Joseph any room and she just poked it back to her.

I don't think she would ever drop that.

  20. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 0.3 over

    Joseph c & b Bell 4 (WI 4-1)

    An early breakthrough for England!

Lauren Bell sends Qiana Joseph back to the dugout as her delivery nips back in and the Windies opener can only return it straight into the grateful hands of the England bowler.

That after Joseph had whacked her to the boundary through the leg side in the previous delivery.
