  1. Match abandoned in Southamptonpublished at 16:07 British Summer Time

    Result: Hampshire (470) drew with Durham (511 & 61-0)

    Martin Emmerson
    BBC Radio Newcastle

This game has thankfully been put out of its misery. On a cold afternoon in Southampton, with few in the ground, the umpires have decided that's that.

It's a mirror image of the draw here last year. That was a game heading nowhere, which also came to a premature ending because of a bit of wet weather.

Hampshire remain unbeaten this season and take 12 points from the encounter and Durham are now unbeaten in three and take 13 points, as they head into a week off.

  2. 'Could be thrilling or tedious'published at 16:00 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 136-4 (target 338)

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

A Glamorgan victory is an outside possibility, a Derbyshire win looks improbable, and a draw could be either thrilling or tedious in Cardiff where Glamorgan have enjoyed a favourable day after Derbyshire fought back on day three.

Chasing a demanding 5.2 runs an over, David Lloyd, Caleb Jewell and Wayne Madsen all made purposeful starts, but two wickets apiece for spinner Ben Kellaway and Ned Leonard have checked the visitors’ effort.

Earlier Kellaway hit a career-best 74 as Glamorgan defended for three-quarters of the opening session before opening up to set up the lunchtime declaration.

  3. Tea at Lord'spublished at 15:51 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 242-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

A few scares in that last over with a clip from Luke Hollman falling just short of a diving Zak Crawley at midwicket.

The two inswinging efforts were kept out by Jack Davies, the first taken off middle just in the nick of time and the second left alone to whistle just past off stump.

Middlesex go in needing 122 runs for the win and Kent needing five wickets or, quite probably, just four if Stephen Eskinazi is unable to return following his back spasm.

All in all, finely poised at HQ and with blue skies above a great final session in store. They'll be back in 20 minutes.

  4. Tea at Sophia Gardenspublished at 15:44 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 136-4 (target 338)

Glamorgan picked up four wickets in that session.

The chase is probably out of Derbyshire's reach now with 202 more needed off 34 overs.

Survival is likely to be the name of the game after tea.

  5. Tea at Old Traffordpublished at 15:43 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 178-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

Lancashire go to tea with a lead of 39 and four wickets in hand.

What a final session we could be in for.

  6. 'Wells wicket key?'published at 15:42 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 178-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

If Gloucestershire could get Luke Wells...

  7. Postpublished at 15:38 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 241-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Jack Davies, on 12, edges one but it doesn't quite carry to Chris Benjamin behind the stumps, the keeper taking it into the gloves on the half volley.

George Garrett shakes his head in frustration and, as is often the case, Davies stands tall to cream one through the covers two balls later.

Middlesex are 124 away now. Kent four (or possibly five) wickets.

  8. Postpublished at 15:34 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 170-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

There are still 40 overs remaining at Old Trafford.

Lancashire lead by just 31 with four wickets in hand.

Luke Wells and Tom Hartley need to stick around until at least tea you feel.

  9. Postpublished at 15:30 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 233-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Not the greatest use of the new ball by George Garrett.

The Kent bowler has fired in two of his first six with the new cherry halfway down the track and the second has been pinged over the square leg boundary by Jack Davies for six.

    Pitch it up George.

  10. 'Gloucestershire sense a wonderful Bank Holiday'published at 15:29 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 160-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Gloucestershire are cock-a-hoop, they sense a wonderful bank holiday Monday in Manchester because they've got Lancashire six down.

Graeme van Buuren could well be spinning Gloucestershire to a terrific victory here.

  11. new ball

Second new ballpublished at 15:25 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 224-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

No hesitation in taking a new ball despite the spinners causing a bit of trouble with the old one.

George Garrett has first crack with it and Luke Hollman is facing on a first class career best 83.

  12. 'Madsen got too much for his own liking'published at 15:24 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 121-4, target 338

    Nick Webb
    BBC Radio Wales

Wayne Madsen got a reasonable bat on that but got too much for his own liking. It was asking for that shot but it needed to be just that bit harder rather than just turning swivelling the hip.

It was a good catch from Andy Gorvin who didn't have much time to set himself, it was struck fairly low and he had to dive to his left to take it.

  13. Tea at Southamptonpublished at 15:23 British Summer Time

    Hants 470 v Durham 511 & 61-0

Closing in on a draw between these two but they will have a cuppa as they contemplate when to shake hands on it.

  14. Postpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 224-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

And that is a first class PB at 83 for Luke Hollman who nudges a single from Jack Leaning.

He is a touch lucky to have got the opportunity given a ridiculously close call on lbw the delivery.

Umpire Rob Bailey shook his head despite huge appeals and appeared to suggest the impact was outside the line. Maybe.

It would have been an umpire's call on review.

  15. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:21 British Summer Time

    Madsen c Gorvin b Leonard 21 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 121-4, target 338)

    That's the big one.

It's a stunning low catch in the deep by Andy Gorvin.

Wayne Madsen swats a short ball from Ned Leonard away and Gorvin grabs the ball inches off the turf.

Glamorgan are heavy favourites now if they weren't already.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:20 British Summer Time

    Balderson c Bracey b Van Buuren 2 (Lancs 450 & 160-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec)

    Lancashire lose a sixth.

George Balderson snicks one from spinner Graeme van Buuren behind.

The hosts are only 21 in front at Old Trafford. It'll be a tough ask from here to get anything out of the game.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:12 British Summer Time

    Jewell lbw b Kellaway 44 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 119-3, target 338)

Glamorgan keep on picking up wickets at crucial times.

It's a second for Ben Kellaway as the spinner pins Caleb Jewell lbw.

Derbyshire still need 219 more runs, but they do have Wayne Madsen in the middle. He's raced to 21 off 16 balls. Anything is possible.

  18. wicket

WICKETpublished at 15:09 British Summer Time

    Geddes c Muyeye b Parkinson 15 (Middx 238 & 216-5, target 365)

What a catch from Tawande Muyeye.

That has spat up off the pitch, taken a bit of Ben Geddes's glove and Muyeye has taken a brilliant catch at slip.

The ball looped up to the gully area and Muyuye has kept his eye on that and dived to take it at full length about six or seven yards away from his starting position.

Due reward for Matt Parkinson and Kent who should have taken Luke Hollman in the previous over, the set batsman getting an edge of Jakc Leaning which bounced off the leg of Chris Benjamin.

Middlesex remain a long way from victory and Kent are sensing one.

  19. Back under way at Southamptonpublished at 15:01 British Summer Time

    Hants 470 v Durham 511 & 40-0

The delay is over at the Utilita Bowl and Sonny Baker will kick things off against Alex Lees with Durham leading by 81 runs.

  20. Back under way at Lord'spublished at 14:59 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 206-4 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Just a short break for rain and they are back on, Jack Leaning with ball in hand with Luke Hollman in his sights at 22 yards.
