  1. Postpublished at 17:30 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 240-7 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

Lancashire's lead is up to 101.

With 13 overs left (minus a couple for the change of innings), are the Red Rose county home and hosed?

Gloucestershire probably need these last three wickets in the next couple of overs.

  2. Postpublished at 17:29 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 327-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

A single off the over and a big shout for a catch at short leg.

Matt Parkinson stands with his hands on his head after the umpire says no but replays suggest that has come off Toby Roland-Jones's pad.

    Still 38 needed for Middlesex.

  3. Postpublished at 17:29 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 264-5 (target 338)

What a finish we're in for at Sophia Gardens.

Martin Andersson and Anuj Dal are going for it... 74 needed off 69 balls.

  4. Close!published at 17:26 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 326-8 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Toby Roland-Jones gets a leading edge which falls just short of Ben Compton at point and then flicks the next off Joey Evison for four through midwicket.

Eight off the over for the hosts and 39 needed with two wickets up.

  5. Postpublished at 17:22 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 320-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Zafar Gohar hits towards the cover boundary but it just slows up short of the rope and they run three.

Toby Ro-Jo grabs a single then Zafar plays and misses at a slider from Matt Parkinson as Middlesex take four off the over.

  6. Postpublished at 17:20 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 251-5 (target 338)

Anuj Dal has played a little gem of an innings since coming in about 20 minutes ago.

He's up to 19 off 20 balls and Derbyshire need 87 off 14 overs.

Very possible with Martin Andersson (64*) looking good at the other end.

  7. Postpublished at 17:18 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 314-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Toby Roland-Jones is the new man in and he plays out four dots from Joey Evison as Kent take a wicket and Middlesex a run from that set.

Matt Parkinson is back on at the other end. Middx need 51 runs.

  8. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:17 British Summer Time

    Wells c Bracey b Van Buuren 36 (Lancs 229-7, lead by 90)

A bit of hope for Gloucestershire?!

Luke Wells edges spinner Graeme van Buuren behind and his 116-ball stay in the middle ends.

He might have just about done enough to save the game for Lancashire with 16 overs to go and a healthyish lead.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:15 British Summer Time

Eskinazi lbw b Evison 41 (Middx 314-8, need 51 runs to win)

That was painful to watch. The crocked Stephen Ezkinazi has been pinned in front of middle and leg and Rob Bailey raises a finger.

Joey Evison has been good since he returned and Middlesex still need 51 for the win. Kent are all over this now.

  10. Postpublished at 17:11 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 313-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Four men crowding the bat, chipping away at Stephen Eskinazi who is struggling to move with any sort of freedom, and a maiden from Matt Parkinson.

    Still 52 needed!

  11. 'Lead looks healthier for Lancashire'published at 17:11 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 229-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

The lead is looking a little healthier for Lancashire and with the overs remaining in the day, the state of the game looks a little easier from Lancashire's point of view.

  12. Postpublished at 17:10 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 240-5 (target 338)

Derbyshire need less than 100 to win now.

98 required off 96 balls with five wickets left and Martin Andersson is well set on 59.

Plenty of batting to come too.

    Where's your money?

  13. Postpublished at 17:09 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 313-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Just one single off a tidy over from Joey Evison and the pressure is building again on Middlesex.

The hosts can thank their lucky stars that they were able to take 29 off that calamitous over from George Garrett.

Even with that in the bag the 52 runs looks a long way away.

  14. Postpublished at 17:05 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 312-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Kent are changing the pace with Joey Evison's medium pace replacing Jack Leaning.

That seems a sensible move from the visitors who will try to get Stephen Eskanazi moving about in the crease.

    Still 52 needed.

  15. Postpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 229-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

20 overs to go and Lancashire's lead is up to 90.

With four wickets in hand, they might have just about done the job to save this game.

Luke Wells and Tom Hartley have blunted Gloucestershire's attack after tea.

  16. Postpublished at 17:03 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 312-7 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Zafar Gohar is in to replace the well-set Jack Davies and with Stephen Eskinazi hobbling at the other end it is Kent who are swarming.

There are 21 overs left in the day and Middlesex need 53 runs.

  17. wicket

WICKETpublished at 17:00 British Summer Time

    Davies c Richards b Parkinson 59 (Middlesex 312-7 need 53 runs)

Jack Davies has holed out at deep square leg trying to sweep another six but has picked out Jamal Richards

That is a huge blow for Kent.

  18. 'Lancashire have been on the ropes'published at 17:00 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 222-6 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

If Lancashire do survive, then obviously it will feel like a hard-fought draw.

They'll feel like they've been on the ropes a bit today but they might look back at this game and compare it to last season where they lost a lot in situations like this.

  19. Postpublished at 16:58 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 312-5 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Stephen Eskinazi is struggling to get up the other end to take strike but has clipped a single to leg off Jack Leaning to move to 40.

Just two off the over and it is over to Matt Parkinson again.

  20. wicket

WICKETpublished at 16:57 British Summer Time

    Guest lbw b Fernando 48 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 218-5, target 338)

    Glamorgan needed that.

Sri Lankan quick Asitha Fernando fires one into the pads of Brooke Guest and up goes the finger.

It ends a stand of 97 with Martin Andersson.

Is that Derbyshire's chances of victory over?

120 more needed off 19 overs with five wickets in hand.
