  1. 'The Lancashire nerves are increasing'published at 14:58 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 152-5 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

Cameron Bancroft again. He's not spilled anything the Gloucestershire skipper. Every chance that has come his way he's gobbled it up with glee.

It's another key wicket and Gloucestershire are chipping away here and the nerves are increasing in the Lancashire dressing room.

  2. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:54 British Summer Time

    Bohannon c Bancroft b T Price 30 (Lancs 450 & 152-5 v Gloucs 589-8 dec)

    HUGE wicket!

What a game the Price brothers are having.

This time Tom picks up his third wicket as Josh Bohannon edges him to slip where Cameron Bancroft claims his third catch.

    Lancashire are effectively 13-5.

  3. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:50 British Summer Time

    Came c Tribe b Kellaway 0 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 83-2, target 338)

    And another for Glamorgan.

Harry Came goes without scoring to the spin of Ben Kellaway as he pops one up to short leg.

Suddenly the target of 338 looks a long way away.

  4. rain stops play

Rain stops play at Lord'spublished at 14:50 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 206-4 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

This match is very finely poised and weather is not what is required at this point.

Middx need another 159 with six wickets (five if Stephen Eskinazi cannot return) still in tact.

Kent, you feel, need maybe one or two breakthroughs to push on for the win and have a new ball due in 6.2 overs.

  5. Bohannon for England?published at 14:47 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 150-4 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

Josh Bohannon battingImage source, Rex Features

Josh Bohannon has some first-class record.

More than 5,000 runs at an average just under 45.

He's 30 not out at Old Trafford, as the Lancashire 150 comes up.

Do you think he should be given an England chance at some point in the near future?

Thumbs up for yes, thumbs down for no.

  6. 200 runs

200 up for Middlesexpublished at 14:45 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 200-4 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

Luke Hollman has got away with one here, dancing down the wicket to Matt Parkinson and getting an inside edge which could have gone anywhere.

Fortunately for him, it goes neither to hand nor on to his stumps and he makes best use of the life to sweep hard next ball to the square leg boundary.

Middlesex are up to 200 with another 165 needed. Kent need a breakthrough.

  7. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:37 British Summer Time

    Lloyd lbw b Leonard 42 (Glamorgan v Derbyshire 67-1, target 338)

    A needed wicket for Glamorgan.

Ned Leonard pins David Lloyd lbw with just his fifth ball.

But it's still a good start for Derbyshire as they chase 338 off 65 overs.

  8. 'Classic Tom Price'published at 14:36 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 143-4 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Ed Seabourne
    BBC Radio Bristol

That's what Gloucestershire were looking for.

It's classic Tom Price, it's just that little fade of in swing that has just beaten Matty Hurst.

It's just what Price does when he's in full flow.

  9. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:34 British Summer Time

    Hurst b T Price 33 (Lancs 450 & 143-4 v Gloucs 589-8 dec)

    Game back on!

Tom Price gets one through Matty Hurst with a lovely inswinger and he's on his way with the lead standing at just four.

Luke Wells joins Josh Bohannon in the middle at Old Trafford.

  10. Chance!published at 14:33 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 189-4 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

There are two fielders almost standing next to each other at cover but Ben Geddes has put a drive right through the pair of them.

Bowler Matt Parkinson stands with the old 'double teapot' in disbelief wondering why one of them did not dive as it whistled past.

That was a chance which Kent might have taken.

  11. Postpublished at 14:30 British Summer Time

    Middx 238 & 183-4 (target 365) v Kent 129 & 473

A single pushed into the covers off Jack Leaning puts Middlesex just the right side of this chase with 183 on the board and another 182 needed.

  12. Scores are levelpublished at 14:28 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 139-3 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

Anything Lancashire score from here on in, Gloucestershire will have to chase.

Josh Bohannon and Matty Hurst have almost seen out the first hour after lunch without any problems.

Another hour of them at the crease and they could be shaking hands at 17:00 BST.

  13. Postpublished at 14:24 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 50-0 (target 338)

So far so good from Derbyshire openers Caleb Jewell and David Lloyd in their pursuit of 338.

The fifty is up after 11 overs.

288 more needed off 54 overs.

  14. rain stops play

Rain stops play at Southamptonpublished at 14:23 British Summer Time

    Hants 470 v Durham 511 & 40-0 (lead by 81 runs)

There will be a break in play with rain falling at the Utilita Bowl, shifting this contest closer to what is an inevitable draw.

For the record, Durham have extended their lead to 81 without losing a wicket, Alex Lees is on 19 and Emilio Gay 17.

It is looking increasingly like Durham 13 points and Hampshire 12 will be the upshot at some stage in the next couple of hours.

  15. 'Lancashire will want calm'published at 14:12 British Summer Time

    Lancs 450 & 125-3 v Gloucs 589-8 dec

    Scott Read
    BBC Radio Lancashire

It's been a pretty calm start to the afternoon session which is absolutely what Lancashire will be hoping is the trend for the rest of the day.

But there is still a lot of cricket to go and I can't believe that there won't be another pinch point moment where Lancashire will feel under pressure again.

If they lose a wicket or two pretty quickly then that will get ramped back up again and it will be pretty difficult if that happens.

  16. wicket

WICKETpublished at 14:09 British Summer Time

    Higgins run out (Parkinson) 11 (Middx 238 & 173-4 v Kent 129 & 473)

Bit of a bizarre dismissal just as nerves were starting to fray for Kent.

Luke Hollman has jumped at the chance to drive straight at Matt Parkinson but the Kent bowler sticks out a paw to attempt the caught and bowled.

The ball doesn't stick but deflects on to the stumps and with Ryan Higgins backing up he is out.

Higgins has actually given himself because umpire Peter Such was taking evasive action and was looking the other way.

Big shift in momentum for Kent who are getting a few breaks go their way despite not really creating too many wicket taking balls.

  17. 'Another marathon effort from Dawson'published at 14:04 British Summer Time

    Hants 470 v Durham 511 & 25-0 (lead by 66 runs)

    Kevan James
    BBC Radio Solent commentator

Liam Dawson is already into his seventh over of this innings, he did open up.

Five wickets in the first innings, another marathon effort from him.

  18. Postpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time

    Glamorgan v Derbyshire 26-0 (target 338)

Derbyshire are off to a fine start in their pursuit of 338 off 65 overs.

Caleb Jewell and David Lloyd are going at more than five an over - exactly what they need.

  19. 50 runs

50 for Hollmanpublished at 14:00 British Summer Time

    Middlesex 168-3 (target 365) v Kent

Luke Hollman has done well particularly since Stephen Eskinazi limped off and has now reached a half century in 107 balls.

  20. Postpublished at 13:57 British Summer Time

    Middlesex 167-3 (target 365) v Kent

Matt Parkinson versus the left handed Luke Hollman is a fascinating battle and one which the Middlesex batsman is winning at the moment.

The leg-spinner is aiming for the footholes outside off stump but Hollman is being positive and getting to the pitch.

Parkinson strays a bit in line and Hollman bunts it through midwicket for four.
