  1. Ind 126-4published at 16 overs

Shivam Dube is batting like wants to prove a point to Matthew Henry (see 4:36pm).

He nails a one-bounce four over square leg.

  2. Ind 119-4published at 15.2 overs

    Hello!

Tabraiz Shamsi with a beauty to rip past Shivam Dube's off stump.

    Millimetres.

    The beach

It's packed down on the beach. People are standing on the picnic benches for a better view. There are kids in the pools and dancers in carnival outfits on the stage.

"Take him down, Virat," is one shout.

    Stage
  4. Ind 118-4published at 15 overs

Virat Kohli has 46 from 42 balls.

I genuinely have no idea how these last five overs will go.

That's a another fuller delivery from Jansen, who needs to pull his length back even more.

I think he's been reading, Matt.

He smashes Marco Jansen for six down the ground.

Let's hope Shivam Dube was reading our live-text when I said he should be dropped the other day.

Would be a handy time to turn up.

  8. Ind 108-4published at 14 overs

Watching the replays, that is so village from Axar Patel.

    He'll be fuming.

The partnership between him and Kohli was worth 72.

It's been a brilliant knock but it was lazy running. He jogged back and it was a bullet of a throw from De Kock.

  10. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 13.3 overs

Axar run out (de Kock) 47 (Ind 106-4)

    What a moment!

That is magic from South Africa's keeper. Virat Kohli misses one, the ball plops behind the stumps where De Kock swoops and throws down the stumps at the non-striker's end, where Axar was just ambling back!

The ball deflected off the stumps to the boundary, so it's a good job he was out.

    Could that be the game-changer?

I'm sure the direct hit has caught Axar short.

    Run out?

This could be epic from Quinton de Kock.

What a shot. Is Axar a spinner or a batter in disguide?

    Shot of the day.

Axar Patel with a lofted straight drive for six to greet Kagiso Rabada back into the attack.

Axar is a brave man to be running at Nortje, who is bowling at just under 90mph.

  16. Ind 98-3published at 13 overs

Axar Patel is struggling to get after the pace of Nortje in comparison to his onslaught to the spinners.

He attempts to combat this by charging down the pitch to him. Would not recommend.

  17. 6 runs

    Ind 93-3published at 12 overs

    Nearly!

Axar Patel launches Shamsi down the ground, just evading Kagiso Rabada at long-on.

  18. Postpublished at 16:21 British Summer Time 29 June

    India's intent is pretty clear.

Kohli to anchor, Axar to attack. It's going to plan so far.

  19. Ind 82-3published at 11 overs

A wide is the only real blemish as Jansen holds his nerve, especially as Axar in particular was trying to take him on.

  20. Ind 78-3published at 10.3 overs

    Three singles.

    He starts well.
