  1. WICKET Davey LBW b Hannon-Dalby 7published at 18:45 1 July

    Somerset 206-5 v Warwickshire 412

Tom Abell gets a single off the last ball of a tense Chris Woakes over and gets one more into the leg side off Oliver Hannon-Dalby.

Got him! Night watchman Josh Davey is out.

He's struck on the pad trying to block in front of middle and leg.

OHD has his third wicket and a chance to bowl to Jack Leach, who has been sent in to try and see out Day Two.

  2. WICKET Stokes b Taylor 26published at 18:43 1 July

    Durham 190 & 148-9 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 226

Final over - can the Pears make a breakthrough?

Ben Stokes absolutely hammers the first ball from Tom Taylor with a pull behind square for four.

Next ball, Worcestershire do get their breakthrough - and it's the big prize.

Bowling around the wicket, Taylor swings one in which keeps low and makes a complete mess of Stokes' stumps.

The England skip is out for 26.

  3. Postpublished at 18:41 1 July

    Somerset 205-4 v Warwickshire 412

Can Warwickshire prize Tom Abell out before stumps?

Abell leaves Chris Woakes on width outside off stump.

He turns the third one round the corner for a single and Josh Davey hands the strike back wish a push between slip and gully.

A huge LBW shout is turned down as Woakes seams one into the pads from just outside off.

A little bit high as Abell is on tiptoes, struck on the front pad. But close!

  4. Postpublished at 18:41 1 July

    Hampshire 505-8d v Kent 187-5

Still nine overs remain in Southampton as Harry Finch (four from 22 balls) and Jack Leaning (60 from 109) seek to steer the Kent ship through choppy waters towards safe moorings overnight.

Keith Barker is thundering in with 3-49, Mo Abbas is preparing to return, Kent will not have this their own way in the half-hour or more until stumps.

They need 168 just to avoid the follow on.

  5. Postpublished at 18:40 1 July

    Durham 190 & 144-8 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 222

Ben Allison overpitches onto leg stump and Ben Stokes drives through the covers for his first four.

A clipped single gets him off strike and takes the lead to double nelson.

Bas de Leede is solid in defence and then looks to turn one around the corner but cannot get bat on ball.

De Leede is drawn into playing the final ball which shapes away and narrowly misses his outside edge.

    Six balls to come.

  6. Postpublished at 18:37 1 July

    Durham 190 & 139-8 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 217

Tom Taylor is halted as he tears in as someone switches a light on in Ben Stokes' eye line and distracts the England skipper.

He picks up an umpteenth single to move to 17.

Bas de Leede drives nicely as he looks to get off a pair on his eighth ball but can't beat the fielder.

He leaves the next one alone and then plays a firm defensive push to last ball with stumps approaching.

    Two to go.

  7. Postpublished at 18:35 1 July

    Somerset 200-4 v Warwickshire 412

Almost two wickets in two balls!

Josh Davey edges Oliver Hannon-Dalby through a vacant third slip for four to bring up the Somerset 200 in the 62nd over.

    Now we have three slips.

  8. WICKET Banton c Yates b Hannon-Dalby 78published at 18:33 1 July

    Somerset 196-4 v Warwickshire 412

Good over from Chris Woakes with just a couple of singles coming from it.

    Five overs left tonight. Gone!

Tom Banton has edged Oliver Hannon-Dalby low to Rob Yates at slip.

Drawn forward, defending with bit of width between bat and body.

He looks crestfallen as he slowly makes his way back to the dressing room.

Josh Davey is in as a night watchman.

  9. Postpublished at 18:33 1 July

    Durham 190 & 138-8 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 216

Ben Stokes collects a single from the first ball of Ben Allison's ninth over.

Bas de Leede plays out five dots.

Three overs to go at Chester-le-Street.

  10. Stumps at Northamptonpublished at 18:29 1 July

    Northants 137-4 v Sussex - target 284

    What a game this is.

Northants have negotiated a hugely challenging final 45 minutes unscathed. It certainly could have been worse having lost two wickets in four balls before that.

They will begin the final day with six wickets in hand and 147 runs to find to topple the Division Two leaders and establish themselves firmly in the promotion race.

Rob Keogh and Matt Breetzke have held firm against immense pressure but it's Emilio Gay's 67 could prove the difference in the final reckoning.

Luke Procter earlier took four wickets to oust Sussex for 237 in their second innings, a total which owed much to John Simpson's 40.

Do not miss this one when day three starts at Wantage Road.

  11. Postpublished at 18:27 1 July

    Somerset 194-3 v Warwickshire 412

Double bowling change. Oliver Hannon-Dalby is on now, replacing left arm spinner Jacob Bethell.

Tom Banton pushes into the off side but there's no run.

The over ends with a leg stump half-volley, tapped through square leg by Banton for four.

  12. WICKET Ackermann c Roderick b Taylor 40published at 18:26 1 July

    Durham 190 & 137-8 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 215

Colin Ackermann welcomes Tom Taylor back into the attack by driving his first ball back past the bowler for four. Lovely stuff.

A cut to deep backward point brings another well-run two to move into the forties.

    But then he's gone!

Ackermann plays away from his body slightly and edges behind to give wicketkeeper Gareth Roderick a chest-high catch. Taylor has 3-41.

The lead is 215 and Bas de Leede is in after his first innings duck.

  13. Durham lead passes 200published at 18:22 1 July

    Durham 190 & 131-7 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 209

Ben Allison continues and Ben Stokes gets a toe end on the first ball before an overthrow lets them through for two as the Durham lead passes 200.

    They may regret that.

Stokes has had enough of looking and aims an almighty hook at the next ball which flies over the fine leg boundary for six.

He then pushes into a gap in the legside and hurries back for two and moves to 15 off 27 balls. Good running.

  14. Postpublished at 18:21 1 July

    Somerset 190-3 v Warwickshire 412

Chris Woakes has replaced Ed Barnard after a marathon spell at the River End.

Tom Banton has one hand off the bat as he stays in the crease to dab the ball safely into the off side.

He drives the second ball through cover for one.

Tom Abell has enough width to leave outside off at first and then defends into the on side as Woakes adjusts the line.

The last ball cuts back off the seam, hitting the bat and that's a very close LBW.

Not out but in can't have been missing leg by much.

  15. WICKET Muyeye c Brown b Barker 21published at 18:19 1 July

    Hampshire 505-8d v Kent 174-5

Keith Barker gets the ball to move a bit off the seam, Tawanda Muyeye has a waft outside off and sends the faintest edge through to Ben Brown.

A very avoidable dismissal after 64 balls in the middle, but the 68-run stand with Jack Leaning is over.

Harry Finch joins Jack Leaning, surely seeking to bat out the day as their only aim.

Barker has 3-38 and his side are a wicket away from a second bowling bonus point.

  16. Postpublished at 18:18 1 July

    Durham 190 & 121-7 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 1999

Colin Ackermann takes a single off the second ball of Matthew Waite's seventh over to go to 34.

Waite then gets one to swing away and beat the outside edge of Ben Stokes' attempted drive.

Stokes then gets squared up a little by a full ball from Waite before walking down the wicket to the next to nudge his fifth single.

  17. Postpublished at 18:17 1 July

    Somerset 189-3 v Warwickshire 412

Tom Banton is forward to drive Jacob Bethell into the off side but the ball is stopped by Oliver Hannon-Dalby at mid off.

Banton keeps the strike with one glance to square leg on the front foot as Bethell loses his line a tad.

  18. Postpublished at 18:15 1 July

    Northants 133-4 v Sussex - target 284

Sussex have slammed the brakes on the Northants chase in the past hour but the hosts are not going away.

Matt Breetzke has just driven Nathan McAndrew attractively past the dive of wide mid-off to move into fouble figures from 19 deliveries.

Rob Keogh has four from 18 at the other end.

The hosts need 151 runs to win with six wickets in hand and three overs and change left in the day. Feels a crucial period for them to negotiate.

  19. That has got to hurt!published at 18:15 1 July

    Durham 190 & 119-7 v Worcs 112 - Durham lead by 197

Colin Ackermann tucks away a nicely-timed shot to pick up three off Ben Allison to leaving Ben Stokes with two to face.

The England skip is flat on his back after being struck in a sensitive part of his anatomy. Thank goodness for boxes.

He's not down for long and plays out the over.

  20. Postpublished at 18:14 1 July

    Somerset 188-3 v Warwickshire 412

Ed Barnard is into his 14th over in this innings and Tom Banton drives on the up for one.

Tom Abell gets a bit of width and cuts through point for one more.

A short ball is swung high to deep square by Tom Banton and the ball lands short of Michael Booth in front of the boundary.
