Back comes Arshdeep Singh, India's record T20 wicket-taker.

England can only work him for five singles from his first five balls, but Adil Rashid clubs his final delivery over mid-wicket.

Replays show the ball landing flat on the boundary sponge - that's six, and vital runs for England.

  3. Eng 146-8published at 17 overs

    36 needed from 18 balls

Adil Rashid in at ten - he has the same number of first-class hundreds, you know.

He sees out the final ball of the over as Ravi Bishnoi finishes with figures of 3-28.

England need exactly two a ball.

That's why England fancy Jamie Overton in this position.

He cleaves Ravi Bishnoi over long-on for six.

Everyone keeps saying how brilliant Bethell is. But all I see is someone who scores really slowly until getting out. Am I missing something? How long are people able to just say "honestly he is really good" without any evidence

    45 needed from 24 balls

Jofra Archer out to wield his willow.

Surely this concussion substitute rule has to be looked at. It has to be like for like, or the substitute not be allowed to bat or bowl. Can fully understand the anger in the England camp

The controversial concussion sub strikes again!

A slower ball from Harshit Rana and Jacob Bethell hits the ball high in the air.

India captain Suryakumar Yadav is under it at long-on, and he takes his second catch of the day.

Brydon Carse comes to the crease and sees his first ball run away for four leg byes.

But the India leg-spinner has his man from the following delivery - Brook goes to ramp, falling backwards as he does so, and only manages to chip the ball into the hands of Arshdeep Singh at short fine leg.

What's the precedent here for a dubious sub replacement? Would England look to challenge the result? Is there any precedent for this?

Absolute nonsense from India. Dubé carried on batting, then they decide he has concussion, so India swap him for a bowler. And not a single Indian commentator will question it. Embarrassing.
