The fourth over is the earliest Varun Chakravarthy has come on to bowl in this series, having previously come on to bowl the sixth over in match one and three. England's fast start has forced an earlier than usual entry point for their mystery spinner.

Spin into the attack as Varun Chakravarthy takes the ball - he took 5-24 in Rajkot on Tuesday

Just the one scoring shot from the first four balls of the over as Ben Duckett reverse sweeps the ball aerially for four.

A second reverse sweep brings a single to point off the penultimate ball of the over.

Ben Duckett goes on the charge!

He strikes a trio of back-to-back fours off Arshdeep Singh, clipping past square leg, lifting the ball through mid-wicket then hooking to the long-leg ropes.

A bit of a conference follows and England only take a single off the final two balls of the over.

Arshdeep Singh dismissed Phil Salt in the first couple of games this series before being rested in the third T20I. Salt will be desperate to survive against the Indian left-armer and get a score here, he's registered five single figures scores in his last six T20Is.

A third four for Phil Salt as his drives Hardik Pandya through the covers.

The opener then sees out a couple of dot balls before clipping to the square leg boundary for two.

Salt makes it through two whole overs for the first time this series, and his 14 is already his top score of this tour.

  6. Eng 12-0published at 1.1 overs

Ben Duckett spent the first over at the non-strikers' end, so he faces to Hardik Pandya.

He offers a thick edge to the opening delivery of the over, no fielder in the cordon and the ball flies away for four.

Runs are there to be had if the ball is in your area. The dew looked like it was coming down. The fact England got to 181 suggests these runs should be chase-able but if India were watching what was difficult to hit then it could be a tricky chase.

    Target 182

    Back to back fours!

Phil Salt times it well off consecutive deliveries from Arshdeep Singh, placing the ball past mid-off and mid-on and off to the ropes.

Arshdeep comes back with two dot balls to close the over, the second beating Salt's attempted cut shot.

  9. Eng 0-0published at 0.1 overs

Arshdeep Singh, back in the side today after being swapped out for Mohammed Shami in Rajkot, takes the new ball for India.

Salt blocks out his opening delivery with textbook defence.

    Thanks Elizabeth.

The teams are back out there - Phil Salt hasn't made it past the second over in this series, can he do any better today?

England are chasing 182 to level the series in Pune.

After that furious innings, I'll hand over control to Mike Peter to take you through England's reply.

I was going to say it was a mistake to bowl out Rashid against Dube who prefers spin, but equally Hardik much prefers pace. Shows how tough captains have it sometimes.

It looked as though the slower balls into the pitch were difficult to hit. Quick, full deliveries were comfortable.

From 79-5 after 11 overs, England will think they have let India off the hook.

It was a great innings to watch. It had everything in. India were a bit timid in the third T20 but today they weren't at all.

India have got about par. England will have to play the spin very well.
