This is showing that Marizanne Kapp is irreplaceable in this team, she always finds something. That's why there is so much change in the South Africa team at the moment as they try to navigate it without her.

  2. SA 46-5published at 8 overs

All-rounder Nadine de Klerk has had a very good series so far, but South Africa need a miracle from her today.

The camera pans to Marizanne Kapp, who has joined the side in the dugout. I wouldn't be surprised if they're trying to work out a way to get her into the middle in disguise.

A big wicket. Very poor timing and the only thing I can give Chloe is the fact that she hadn't faced many balls and therefore wasn't used to the bounce of the wicket yet.

  4. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 7.2 overs

    Tryon c Knight b Dean 1 (SA 45-5)

    Even softer.

Chipped straight to a diving Heather Knight at extra cover and there goes South Africa's captain and their most experienced batter.

Simply batting out the 20 overs looks like it's going to be a struggle here.

  5. SA 45-4published at 7 overs

Like clockwork, Sophie Ecclestone comes on straight after the powerplay.

Just three from the over as the inexperienced Nondumiso Shangase comes in, but she just needs to keep things simple and get Chloe Tryon on strike as much as she can.

Sune Luus will have wanted to get past the powerplay and now she has opened up the middle order of South Africa to face the best spinner in the world. Not a wise move!

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 6 overs

    Luus c Knight b Dean 17 (SA 42-4)

    Soft.

Having pulled the previous ball for four to completely dominate the over, Sune Luus chips the last one straight to cover.

That is poor from the senior player and leaves South Africa in a whole heap of trouble at the end of the powerplay.

  8. SA 38-3published at 5.4 overs

Another couple of boundaries for Sune Luus, who is not interested in hanging around.

She drives nicely over cover as Charlie Dean offers too much width, before a lucky edge flies past Amy Jones.

This is the 34th time England have taken three or more powerplay wickets in a T20I - they've gone on to lose on only one occasion when doing so previously (2nd T20I vs Pakistan, Loughborough, July 2013).

A weakened South Africa will feel very frustrated and you can see that Sune Luus is wanting to get on with it and get some runs.

  11. SA 30-3published at 5 overs

    Shot!

Sune Luus slams a short ball from Freya Kemp through the covers, helped by a Charlie Dean misfield.

Dean makes up for it with a good save later in the over though, saving a crunching Chloe Tryon drive from reaching the ropes.

  12. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 4 overs

    Dercksen c Sciver-Brunt b Bell 19 (SA 25-3)

    Lauren Bell wins the battle!

Huge shame for Annerie Dercksen, who was looking good and leading South Africa's rebuild. She punches her bat in frustration too, because it's a soft dismissal.

If she'd left it alone, it would have been a wide but she can't resist, eventually chipping the ball straight up to Nat Sciver-Brunt at mid-on.

  13. SA 25-2published at 3.5 overs

    Hello!

Lauren Bell responds nicely to the boundary by beating Dercksen twice outside off stump. But Dercksen's not having any of it, skipping down the pitch and thumping the ball over mid-on for another boundary.

Nice battle brewing between these two.

  14. SA 21-2published at 3.1 overs

    Another great shot.

Lauren Bell offers one on leg stump and Annerie Dercksen waits patiently, just helping it on its way past short fine leg for four.

  15. SA 17-2published at 3 overs

    Four more!

Lovely from Sune Luus, making the most of Lauren Filer's pace and simply pushing the ball past mid-off for her first runs.

That forces Filer to try and go straighter but she fires it wide. Pleasing to see some proactive batting from South Africa rather than just seeking survival.

Lauren Filer's average speed of 75 mph during her opening over is the joint fastest by an English bowler, alongside her opening over in the 2nd T20I.

  17. SA 11-2published at 2.2 overs

Back-to-back boundaries for Annerie Dercksen and much-needed ones for South Africa.

The first is gloriously driven down the ground and the second comes with a slice of luck, edging a short ball over the keeper.

  18. SA 3-2published at 2 overs

Sune Luus is one of the more experienced names in South Africa's squad but she is another victim of being swapped in and out of the side throughout the series.

She defends four balls from Lauren Bell as England continue to dominate.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 1.2 overs

    Tunnicliffe c Bouchier b Bell 1 (SA 3-2)

    From bad to worse.

Lauren Bell slams one in, just back of a length, and Faye Tunnicliffe tries to pull from outside the off stump. She's nowhere near it, gets a top edge, and Maia Bouchier does well at mid-on with about three other fielders circling her.

South Africa's inexperience is really showing here.

  20. SA 2-1published at 1 over

A great over to start from Filer, using her pace and bounce brilliantly to show just why England are so committed to investing in her.

Annerie Dercksen is in at three - she's had a decent series so far and is an exciting prospect for the Proteas but this will be a big ask of her to steady the innings after a disastrous start.
