New batter Jess Kerr takes an immediate single to mid-wicket.

From here New Zealand will be looking to eek out what they can from the rest of the innings.

There comes the end of a tremendous career of batting in women's 50-over cricket. Sophie Devine has done and seen it all.

The most destructive servant of New Zealand batting.

    There's a nick there!

Sophie Devine's last ODI innings has come to an end, dismissed from an inside edge that was unwittingly taken by Amy Jones, who was going for the stumping.

A good bit of keeping from Amy Jones and it would not surprise me if Sophie Devine has hit this.

Could this be the end of Sophie Devine's ODI career?

Amy Jones collects Nat Sciver-Brunt's ball behind the stumps and whips off the bails.

The third umpire is going to take a look - and might there also be an inside edge involved as well?

  6. NZ 154-5published at 33 overs

One single off Linsey Smith's seventh over.

She's gone for just five runs in 18 balls since returning to the attack.

If you're just waking up and wondering why Sophie Ecclestone isn't bowling in the middle overs - here's why.

She sustained a shoulder injury fielding, but returned to the middle to bowl and dismissed Brooke Halliday with her fourth ball.

However after that delivery she immediately had to go off the field, and won't be returning in this innings.

England aren’t finding a lot of lateral movement off the pitch so far in this innings.

The spinners have extracted just 1.8° of movement on average from the pitch, which is the lowest of any of the five games played in Vizag so far.

It’s a similar story for the seamers, who are finding 0.5° on average of seam movement, the second lowest figure for seamers in a match at this grounds in the competition.

It has been messy from England today and not ruthless enough from New Zealand.

England have not been at their best with the ball and New Zealand likewise with the bat - Sophie Devine's last game may be a factor in that.

  10. drinks break

    NZ 153-5published at 32 overs

Lauren Bell sends a rank delivery down the leg side and Sophie Devine's eyes light up - she helps it on its way out to the fine leg boundary, with the ball bouncing just before crossing the ropes.

Bell then drops it too short - it would have been a wide but Izzy Gaze flails at the ball, gets a top edge and it goes for four behind the keeper, bringing up New Zealand's 150.

The first boundaries Bell has conceded today - she can mull on that as the players take drinks.

England are very much on top but there have been patches where they have not bowled well at all and New Zealand have not capitalised.

It has been a funny old game.

  12. NZ 142-5published at 31 overs

News from the England dressing room - Sophie Ecclestone is continuing to have treatment on her shoulder and won't return to the field during this innings.

Out in the middle, Linsey Smith's over goes for three runs.

Changes at both ends as Lauren Bell comes back.

Wicketkeeper Amy Jones lets one through her legs to concede a bye, one of three runs from the over.

This is a much better over for Linsey Smith. She has not had the best of days today.

  15. NZ 136-5published at 29 overs

Linsey Smith returns in place of Sophia Dunkley and concedes a single off her over.

Nat Sciver-Brunt will have to manage overs carefully with Sophie Ecclestone off the field - that was Smith's fifth, she's got figures of 1-22 thus far.

  16. 6 runs

    NZ 135-5published at 28 overs

Alice Capsey finishes her over with an over-step no ball so has to bowl again.

Izzy Gaze then punishes the transgression by punching the extra delivery over long-on for six!

Another full toss gets a wicket. This has been poor from New Zealand - they have not punished England nearly enough.

When you know England are a bowler down, you have to take advantage.
