  1. Ind 240-4published at 38 overs

    Rodrigues 6, Ghosh 0

Richa Ghosh is the next in for India. That's the right call. She has been their form batter in this tournament but has been coming in as low as eight.

That last over was a wicket maiden from Sophie Molineux. Superb.

Another big wicket for Australia in such a crucial time. They just got Kaur and now Deol as well. A big moment in the game and a big opportunity for Australia.

Trouble. Harleen Deol, having played so well, slices a catch high to long-off. She was aiming back over the head of bowler Sophie Molineux but didn't get to the pitch. Now Australia sense their moment.

  4. Ind 240-3published at 37 overs

    Deol 38, Rodrigues 6

New batter, same result as Jemimah Rodrigues gets four from her first delivery. This one was a bit edgy in fairness. India have to keep pushing on.

The Indian skipper is gone, and it is Megan Schutt who makes the crucial breakthrough. Just when you thought Kaur was becoming dangerous, she has been dismissed.

Schutt takes catch at backward point from Kaur as Australia 'make crucial breakthrough'

Visakhapatnam is quiet now! Harmanpreet Kaur has cut a wider ball from Megan Schutt straight to the fielder at point. I think that was a plan from the Aussies. Kaur was backing away to give herself room. She just couldn't control her shot having done so.

The ball just seems to be evading the Australian hands here. You can see with the way Kaur is batting that she is getting ready to slog here.

  8. Ind 233-2published at 36 overs

    Deol 37, Kaur 22

This crowd is loud in Visakhapatnam. They're cheering as a skewed sweep only just clears mid-on.

Kaur is certainly fired up now after that near run-out. Perhaps Harleen Deol knows what she's doing.

  10. Ind 173-2published at 35 overs

    Deol 35, Kaur 19

Tasty. Harmanpreet Kaur charges off for a single, only to be sent back by Harleen Deol. The India skipper has to scramble to get back and then fires a volley towards her batting partner.

She's furious with Deol for not accepting the call. Even after hitting the next ball for four she's still having a pop. It's working because Kaur cuts the next ball for four too.

Look at India and Australia, compared to England, they are on a different level in batting and fielding. England are probably up there in bowling terms, but not in the other two disciplines.

India have got to be targeting 350 at least, haven't they? You still wouldn't rule out this Australia batting line-up either.

If India accelerates from this point onwards at 10 runs per over, then they would get to 380. If they continue at the current run rate, then they would get to 318.

    Drinks - Ind 210-2published at 33 overs

All-rounder Annabel Sutherland, who nabbed the wicket of Pratika Rawal, continues with another good over which includes only two singles. Sutherland is mixing through her slower balls very effectively.

That'll be drinks. India remain in the box seat.

Kaur means business when she has that big backswing.

  17. Ind 208-2published at 32 overs

    Deol 27, Kaur 7

And if you thought that cheer was loud, the one that greets Harmanpreet's first four is another level. The India skipper biffs Alana King's leg-spin over her head, just after Harleen Deol had swept another four.

This is the best pitch of the tournament. It's producing the most watchable cricket too.

The cheers are huge as Harmanpreet Kaur arrives in the middle.

Pratika Rawal falls pulling to fine leg! She hit it well, somewhere near the middle, but has timed the ball straight into Ellyse Perry's hands.

Pratika Rawal offers you consistency, which is phenomenal and similar to Smriti Mandhana, as they are impact players. The consistency is what India wants and needs, especially as both are opening batters.
