India survive losing fourth wicket after 'very tight' no ball call

    It's a no-ball!

Seamer Diana Baig has overstepped. It's actually very tight looking at the reply.

There is a big smile on the face of the Pakistan head coach. Jemimah Rodrigues will not look back on that shot with much pleasure.

Another one! Jemimah Rodgigues, having just stepped away before the delivery for the swarm of flies, nicks behind a cut.

  6. What do rules say about insects on the field of play?published at 12:25 BST

We can't see anything in the ICC playing conditions which legislates for bugs, but there is this guidance around umpires signalling a dead ball if:

    • He/she consider that either side has been disadvantaged by a person, animal or other object within the field of play.

    Deol 34, Rodrigues 2

Was that Harmanpreet Kaur wicket the first in cricket to be assisted by a swarm of bugs? She had been going nicely.

There's another pause in this over with Nashra Sandhu wafting a towel at the top of her mark to try and disperse the insects.

  8. Ind 108-3published at 25 overs

Jemimah Rodrigues is the new India batter and she's off the mark with a single.

Halfway through the innings and this match remains very nicely poised. To take you through the next 25 overs, it's over to Matthew Henry.

A soft dismissal for Harmanpreet Kaur. She looked to play it down to fine leg but should have left it alone really.

    Very soft.

Baig dismisses Harmanpreet for 19 as India captain caught behind down leg side

Hamranpreet Kaur won't have the chance to use any of that bug spray...

It's a fairly soft dismissal for the India captain as Harmanpreet tries to glance the ball fine off her hip but is caught behind down the leg side.

Well taken tumbling down to her left by Sidra Nawaz and Diana Baig strikes in her first over back.

I'm not sure what can really be done about this fly situation but it looks like some bug spray will be brought out at the end of the over.

Some really good fielding on display from Pakistan. Those are the small moments that can really make a difference to the game.

  14. Ind 105-2published at 24.1 overs

    Not badly at all.

First ball with the new ball - and the first delivery of seam bowling for a while - is driven smartly through the covers by Harmanpreet Kaur but stopped just shy of the boundary. Two.

We've got a delay now as the India batters talk to the umpires. It seems to be about the large number of bugs/flies that we've seen on the field since the start of the match.

Another very tidy over from Nashra Sandhu, only a couple of singles from it.

Harmanpreet Kaur thinks something needs to change so she calls for a new bat. Let's see how she gets on with this one...

Sadia Iqbal has bowled extremely well. She has got 28 dot balls so far.

That percentage of dot balls is so important for creating pressure but she needs support from the other end.

  17. Ind 101-2published at 23 overs

Sadia Iqbal has been very impressive since returning to the attack.

The left-arm spinner conceded eight in the first over of the innings and was quickly replaced but since coming back, she's taken 1-16 from her next six.

Just a single from this one as we approach the halfway stage of the innings.

A brilliant shot from Harmanpreet Kaur. She skipped down the track and leant on top of the ball to bisect the field.

    Very effortless from the captain.

Delicately played by Harleen Deol as she guides a late cut fine, down to deep third for four.

Nashra Sandhu is really taking the pace off the ball and there are cries of 'catch it!' when Harmanpreet Kaur is through her shot too early and a leading edge arcs towards mid-off, falling just short.

The India captain adjusts quickly and skips down to drive the next ball wide of mid-on for four. That brings up the 100 for batting side.
