That looks very close. Jemimah Rodrigues is playing with fire!

    She looks out to me.

Has Jemimah Rodrigues' luck run out? It looks like she's short of her ground here despite a dive.

There is a lot of luck riding with Jemimah Rodrigues at the moment. That shot should have been a simple pick-up for the fielder.

Pakistan have fielded well on the whole so far but this is a bit of a shocker.

As Jemimah Rodrigues, with the flies buzzing around her grille, guides one to deep third, the ball goes between the Rameen Shamim's legs and for four.

It should have only been a single but is instead another boost for Rodrigues.

Harleen Deol is the set batter and she should be looking to go big now and to stay there until the end of the 50 overs.

This partnership is crucial for India to try and get that big score.

It will be interesting to see how Pakistan go about these last 23 overs. It is hard out there in the heat and with the insects.

They have got to keep hoping that their bowlers can deliver.

    Deol 36, Rodrigues 10

Finally the over ends with a Jemimah Rodrigues forward defence. The bugs have got worse during that pause if anything.

Drinks are being taken now as a result of the bug spray pause.

The players are really not happy out there and they are asking what can be done to try and resolve the issue of the insects. I'm not sure what can be done about it!

One of Pakistan's sub fielders has now run on with an aerosol of bug spray.

Skipper Fatima Sana takes it on herself to spray it in the air above the pitch but I am not sure this is going to solve the issue.

'Swarmed!' - Pakistan and India interrupted by fly infestation

    This looks pretty unpleasant.

The swarm of flies has descended again. Pakistan skipper Fatima Sana and bowler Nashra Sandhu waft a towel like I do when I have set off the smoke alarm burning.

Now the players are coming in for a chat with the umpires...

Diana Baig is still in credit, she had just dismissed Harmanpreet Kaur, but she'll have a sickening feeling in her stomach after that no-ball.

    It's a no-ball!

Seamer Diana Baig has overstepped. It's actually very tight looking at the reply.

There is a big smile on the face of the Pakistan head coach. Jemimah Rodrigues will not look back on that shot with much pleasure.

  20. What do rules say about insects on the field of play?published at 12:25 BST

We can't see anything in the ICC playing conditions which legislates for bugs, but there is this guidance around umpires signalling a dead ball if:

    • He/she consider that either side has been disadvantaged by a person, animal or other object within the field of play.
