    Ah, soft.

Josh Inglis is furious with himself and understandably, because he's thrown it away. An innocuous delivery from Jadeja is just chipped straight to Virat Kohli at cover.

Inglis looks to the sky and shakes his head in frustration as he trudges off.

    Aus 133-3

    Thanks, Elizabeth.

Steve Smith is helping Australia to a decent platform here. He pulls a rare loose delivery from Chakravarthy for four, before driving a couple to bring up his half-century from 68 balls.

  4. Aus 125-3published at 25 overs

Australia continue to rotate the strike nicely, jogging five easy singles.

And with that, it's time for Ffion Wynne to guide you through the remainder of Australia's innings.

I was about to say I am surprised Alex Carey hasn't come to bat here to get a bit of right-hand, left-hand action in for Australia but he has the worst average v spin in ODIs since the start of 2023 of all of their top order.

Steve Smith has the second best after Travis Head.

  6. Aus 120-3published at 24 overs

Varun Chakravarthy comes back into the attack and chaos ensues.

He's getting the ball to turn back in to the batters, beating Inglis' bat first ball. Australia's batters scramble a trio of singles before a poor delivery is given the treatment by Steve Smith, driving for four.

Marnus Labuschagne was playing more freely out of the two. Australia have done so well this innings to put the pressure on but just a lapse in focus, that's absolutely salmon.

  8. Aus 113-3published at 23 overs

Marnus Labuschagne looks absolutely furious on the sidelines.

Meanwhile, new batter Josh Inglis and Steve Smith rotate the strike for three runs. Inglis is off the mark.

Ravindra Jadeja has another breakthrough for India. They built the pressure and now they'll reap the rewards.

Oops. Labuschagne starts the over with a four but two balls later, he's on his way after being trapped lbw.

He thinks long and hard about the review but soon sets off for the changing rooms. The replay shows it would've been umpire's call.

Terrific shot from Marnus Labuschagne. Dismissive and effective.

    Skittish? What do I know?

Marnus Labuschagne gets hold of the first delivery of Ravindra Jadeja's fifth over and sweeps him for four.

Australia are doing a better job of rotating the Indian spinners than New Zealand managed on Sunday. So far, Australia have faced just 72 dot balls - that's the lowest for this stage of any Indian bowling innings in the competition so far.

Steve Smith is starting to look a bit twitchy out there.

  15. Aus 106-2published at 22 overs

A messy over from Australia, with Marnus Labuschagne and Steve Smith both fortunate to still be in the middle.

One ball after being dropped, Smith goes for a bizarre ramp. Australia are looking a little skittish.

Shami drops sharp chance off Smith

Steve Smith smashes the ball straight back to Mohammed Shami but the bowler, who earlier dropped Travis Head on 0, misses out on another caught and bowled.

The ball crashes into the base of his left hand and ricochets straight back out again. That'll be sore in the morning.

Australia are trying to pout some pressure back on Mohammed Shami.

  18. Aus 105-2published at 21.1 overs

It's nearly another bowling change masterstroke from Rohit Sharma. Marnus Labuschagne wafts at a wider delivery and narrowly avoids edging through to KL Rahul. His bat was millimetres away from the ball.
