That was all upper body strength to manoeuvre the ball for six.

Australia are not going to restrict India in 50 overs so need 10 wickets.

    Target 265

India are up and running. A boundary and a quick three from the bat of Rohit Sharma. On a faster outfield, it would've been two fours.

  6. Ind 4-0published at 0.2 overs

Rohit Sharma is quickly off the mark. It's down the leg-side Ben Dwarshuis, a gift of a ball really, and India's captain turns it away for four.

Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill are making their way to the middle.

Ben Dwarshuis, rocking his French Kiss-era Kevin Kline moustache, looks like he'll be opening the bowling. (It's a very gentle rom-com with Meg Ryan - give it a watch).

This is an inexperienced Australia bowling attack against batters who smash it. For me, India are favourites.

This is going to be fascinating. A few people I have spoken to think Australia are 20-30 runs short but the other side of the coin is that they have runs on the board and there's the pressure of the chase in a semi-final.

The man for the chase. Any ODI chase...

Can India chase 265 to book their spot in Sunday's final or have Australia got enough runs on the board? Will Virat Kohli be the key man or will someone else steal the show?

    Let us know your thoughts.

India should easily win if Aus can’t get the 10 wickets!

Australia rode their luck at times, with both Travis Head (39 off 33) and Steve Smith (73 off 96) dropped early in their innings.

Yes, India recovered to bowl Australia out for 264, but will those missed opportunities come back to haunt them?

Half-centuries from Steve Smith (73 off 96) and Alex Carey (61 off 57) underpinned Australia's innings of 264.

Here are the highlights from Carey's knock.

On a pitch that was expected to be a spinner's dream, it was quick Mohammed Shami who finished with the best figures for India, picking up 3-48 from his 10 overs.

Well, Australia's bowlers have something to work with, but India closed out that innings so well to take the momentum into their batting innings.

That's my cue to make way, and leave you with Elizabeth Botcherby to guide you through the interval and the beginning of India's chase.

Australia only added 66 runs in 72 balls after Glenn Maxwell was out.

India will be very pleased with that finish.

At 198-4 in the 37th over Australia had their eyes on 320.

A lovely ball from Hardik Pandya. You just need to keep things simple when you are bowling at the tail.

It has been a strange innings. Smith and Labuschagne batted well to absorb pressure. Australia have an okay total but you don't really know where they are at, the pitch didn't turn as much as we thought it would.
