    That was a beautiful delivery.

Just what Bangladesh will have wanted. Will Young will be disappointed with that shot.

What a delivery. This could be the breakthrough Bangladesh need.

    That's a beauty!

Taskin Ahmed removes the in-form Will Young, bowling him through the gate.

There was in swing and Young played all around that as it clattered into the stumps behind him.

    A superb start for Bangladesh.

    Thank you, Elizabeth.

Being honest, I was surprised that Bangladesh lasted all 50 overs of their innings. It did not look like a certainty at the halfway mark.

New Zealand have done a good job of restricting Bangladesh's score, helped signifianctly by the bowling of Michael Bracewell.

Games like Bangladesh v New Zealand following the uncompetitive Pakistan v India is why T20 in all its formats around the globe is centre stage. Nothing exciting or compelling about this Champions Trophy, sadly.

On top of his four wickets, Michael Bracewell was in the right place at the right time to remove Najmul Hossain Shanto in the 38th over.

Bangladesh's captain anchored his side's innings with 77 off 110.

Bangladesh were guilty of throwing away wickets throughout their innings.

Could they have made 250 if Jaker Ali had been in for the final few overs?

  12. 'Today was my day' - Bracewellpublished at 12:43 Greenwich Mean Time

New Zealand's Michael Bracewell: "Today was my day but it is one of those where you take the good with the bad.

"There is a lovely wind out there and it is always nice to get some assistance from the wind. I come from Wellington and it was quite a light wind instead!

"The athleticism is amazing in the group and that is one thing we do. We try to put our bodies on the deck.

"It looked like it got a little bit easier towards the end so hopefully it slides on a bit more for us. Hopefully we can get off to a good start like they did and carry that on throughout the run chase."

A chaotic innings from Taskin Ahmed.

He's not a batter, but he come out and played as well as he could.

The high risk strategy was always going to lose him as a wicket.
