Mohammed Siraj has delivered the perfect yorker. That is a big wicket for India. That would have been job done for England.

Zak Crawley cannot believe it. It has gone straight through Crawley. What a way for the day to finish.

Bails everywhere. India will sleep well tonight.

Mohammed Siraj has nailed his yorker and Zak Crawley is gone. He has his hands on his knees. He can't believe it.

Not entirely sure how Ayush has had such a negative reaction to that message. 6 dropped catches - they pretty much got this Indian attack out three times in a day and a half with our most experienced bowler out for the count. No one could argue this was a vintage performance, but I think some perspective would be useful from England fans

Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley collect six runs. 50 up for England.

At the start of the over, the shadow across the Oval was around halfway down the pitch. Now, it's completely engulfed the ground.

Three minutes left - six balls, you'd presume.

Ben Duckett isn't holding his bat with his left hand much in between deliveries. His mid-over single is the only scoring shot.

England will likely still go on to lose this but credit due to England's pace trifecta - I think we all thought India would be about 400-odd for 3 this evening but they've grafted and given England at least something getable!

    Target 374

Ben Duckett immediately gets off strike with a single and does some shadow batting at the non-striker's end.

Zak Crawley safely deals with the final ball of the over.

Ben Duckett is going to carry on, painfully pulling his glove back on. Two balls left in the over.

We're into the final 15 minutes of day three.

The gloves are so good now.

Those are the balls when I played where you saw a lot of damage done to the hands.

Ben Duckett is looking OK. He gave it a little wiggle.

A horrible ball and it came from nowhere. He will not go off this field unless he has to.

There is a little patch there. Prasidh Krishna got one whistling past Ben Duckett's shoulder.

I hope it's not a break for Duckett. He is grimacing.

  15. Eng 42-0published at 10.4 overs

    Prasidh Krishna has swapped ends.

He gets one to leap off the pitch and it smashes into Ben Duckett's bottom hand.

He drops his bat, whips off his glove. He's in a good deal of pain.

    England need 332 runs

10 overs into England's second innings and Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley have knocked 42 off their 374-run target.

Here's one of the reasons they're chasing such a hefty total...

  19. Eng 37-0published at 9 overs

    Target 374

Ravindra Jadeja got his steps in in that over.

Ben Duckett pinged the ball down the ground and Jadeja hunted it down to save two runs. The next ball, he misfielded at mid-on and had to jump up and chase the ball to the boundary. England ran three.
