England are in deep trouble. Surely they simply cannot carry on playing like this? They are better than this, but to have this mindset that everything is okay, we're close to Australia etc, is fooling no-one.

    Adrian, Worcester

England are still not learning from previous games. Still finding ways to get themselves out with mindless cricket. Amy Jones' shot selection second ball for her dismissal sums it up.

    Richard, Telford

It's getting harder to defend this England team with each passing delivery.

    John, Nibley

Fair play to Australia. Completely outclassing this dire England side. 16-0 whitewash is inevitable.

This is starting to be really embarrassing for England.

Another terrible shot trying to slog sweep a spinner. It is a debacle from England and this is a series low-point.

  4. wicket

    Dean c King b Wareham 1 (Eng 48-7)

Just when you thought it couldn't get any worse for England...

Such a tame dismissal for Charlie Dean.

Tossed up by Georgia Wareham, Dean tries to sweep but just dollies up the simplest of catches to Alana King at square leg.

Wareham has 3-3 and England are heading towards a heavy, heavy loss.

Grace Harris reads the shot immediately and the visitors are capitulating here at the Adelaide Oval.

England are in all sorts of trouble. Freya Kemp hit the ball high up on the bat, it was a comfortable catch for Grace Harris.

The shot selection has not been great here from England.

  7. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 7.5 overs

    Kemp c Harris b Brown 5 (Eng 46-6)

    Start the car.

Freya Kemp tries to hit over the off side this time but manages only to offer up a straightforward catch to Grace Harris at mid-off.

It was a shorter delivery from Darcie Brown but there just wasn't the width for Kemp to play that shot.

Collapsing, crumbling, capitulating. Whatever you want to call it, England are racing towards a sixth straight defeat.

    Target 163

Short from Darcis Brown and Freya Kemp goes back to hammer a pull shot over mid-wicket for four.

    Top shot.

This England team are so far from what is required to compete against Australia both in the field and batting. Poor decision making and execution from Dunkley and Capsey and dreadful technique from Sciver-Brunt.

    Richard, Telford

Sport is never good to watch when there is such an enormous gulf between the two teams.

    Tom

Whitewash incoming. This England team are poor and a total embarrassment.

    Mark

I'll be surprised if England get to three figures. End of a tour and just can't wait to get away from being thrashed every game.

England are five down inside the first seven overs for the third time in their T20I history, all three instances have come against Australia.

    Target 163

What a first over for Georgia Wareham.

The leggie takes two wickets for two runs and Australia are poised to go up 12-0 in this series.

  12. Not outpublished at 6.4 overs

    Eng 39-5

They go through all the UltraEdge stuff, no bat involved and Freya Kemp was pinned right in front.

However, even from those replays it is clear the ball pitched well outside leg.

Ball-tracking confirms as much. Not out. Small mercies for England...

  13. Australia reviewpublished at 6.4 overs

Has Georgia Wareham got a third in the over?

Australia send it upstairs after Freya Kemp is hit right in front of all three.

But did it pitch outside the left-hander's leg stump?

Heather Knight is still there, she could go berserk. But realistically, it is pretty dire for England at the moment.

Freya Kemp is not known for her batting ability at all.

  15. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 6.3 overs

    Jones lbw b Wareham 0 (Eng 39-5)

Not bat involved, three reds and England are collapsing in Adelaide.

Even on first viewing it looked as though Amy Jones was in bother.

After getting so far across her stumps, the only hope was that she got a little tickle on it.

UltraEdge shows that wasn't the case and it was going on to hit leg.

Hearts are in mouths in the England camp. They need this to not be out.

  17. England reviewpublished at 6.3 overs

Is it about to get worse for England?

Amy Jones is given out lbw after going across her stumps and attempting a lap sweep.

She sends it upstairs but if she hasn't hit it, this doesn't look good for her...

No luck for Danni Wyatt-Hodge. She got nowhere near the middle of the bat.

England's batting line-up gets a little bit precarious from this point on.

  19. wicket

    WICKETpublished at 6.1 overs

    Wyatt-Hodge c Sutherland b Wareham (Eng 39-4)

    There goes another one.

Georgia Wareham into the attack and the leg-spinner is the second Australia bowler tonight to strike first ball.

Danni Wyatt-Hodge aims a big shot down the ground, is beaten in the flight and skies it.

Annabel Sutherland takes the catch at mid-off as England slump further.

This partnership is crucial for England. Now that we are outside the powerplay it gets difficult and England need to push their ones into twos and try to find some boundaries.
