  1. Spirit 30-2published at 35 balls

    Charli Knott gets going!

She's scored five off her first 12 balls, but lashes the 13th - bowled by England spinner Linsey Smith - down the ground for four.

Been a sluggish start from London Spirit, but a brilliant start from the Northern Superchargers. They've kept them contained and they look like they're going to take some pace off the ball now.

    Matt Henry has another!

Former England opener Jason Roy tries to whip it though mid-wicket but can only pick out Tom Abell.

Brave are really struggling to score against the masterly and miserly Henry on a green surface at Sophia Gardens.

Pressure building on Charli Knott. An interesting move to elevate her up the order. I think Grace Harris could have had a bigger impact on the powerplay and put a bit more pressure on the Superchargers bowlers.

  5. Spirit 22-2published at 30 balls

London Spirit's slow start continues - just two singles off Grace Ballinger's third set.

Already eyes will be turning to Grace Harris - it seems the responsibility of blasting Spirit towards a respectable score will rest on her shoulders.

She has to get in first, mind.

Despite their shaky start, it was a straightforward call from the Spirit to bat first here. At Lord's, in the two games this season, teams batting first have won both times.

Northern Superchargers definitely on top here.

  8. Spirit 20-2published at 25 balls

Georgia Redmayne takes a single through backward square before Charli Knott faces three Annabel Sutherland dot balls then takes two through third.

That's the end of the powerplay and Superchargers will the happier with it, especially after Spirit chose to bat.

Just two boundaries scored in the first 25 balls - both of Georgia Redmayne's bat.

Beautiful shot from Georgia Redmayne. Alice Davidson-Richards tried her best but the ball was always going to beat her.

    Redmayne up and running.

  11. Spirit 17-2published at 20 balls

A tidy shot from Georgia Redmayne, driving Kate Cross past mid-off for her second boundary.

We're going to see Annabel Sutherland come on for the last five balls of the powerplay.

Only one person out on the leg side, Cordelia Griffith did well to pick them out perfectly. Lucy Higham jumps and takes the catch comfortably in the end. She did well to hold her ground.

A second catch in the leg side outfield!

After being troubled by Kate Cross' first two deliveries, Cordelia Griffith attempts a whippy aerial shot and finds Lucy Higham at square.

A unconvincing showing from the Spirit top order today.

Safe as you like from Linsey Smith. She made good ground, coming around to midwicket. Kira Chathli didn't get hold of that and hitting up the slope gave Smith the opportunity to do the legwork.

The extra five balls from Grace Ballinger is working a treat for Northern Superchargers.

  18. Spirit 9-0published at 10 balls

Cordelia Griffith out at number three for London Spirit - she gets under way with a clip off the legs.

Prior to the wicket, Georgia Redmayne picked up the first four of the innings, half edging/half guiding the ball through third.

  19. wicket

    Caught in the deep!

Kira Chathli has her first single-figure score of the tournament as she is dismissed heaving Grace Ballinger's delivery out to Linsey Smith at mid-wicket.

An aerial pull, didn't get enough on it, there ends the opener's innings.
