    Pakistan captain Fatima Sana: "We want to bat first to put the maximum total we can here. We saw in the last match between Scotland and Bangladesh the pitch was a little bit slow so that's why we want to bat first.

    "We want to put a maximum total up because the Sri Lanka team is good. My first T20 World Cup game as captain? I am a little bit nervous but so excited to play as everyone is supporting me."

    Pakistan captain Fatima Sana gave the coin a toss a few moments ago and Sri Lanka skipper Chamari Athapaththu called heads.

    It came down a tail and Sana has decided she would like first use of the pitch.

    The Women's T20 World Cup is up and running after Bangladesh beat Scotland by 16 runs in the tournament opener.

    We're back with the second instalment of today's double bill from the Sharjah Cricket Ground in the United Arab Emirates as we bring you live text commentary of Pakistan v Sri Lanka.
